Although the equipment is now remote automatic monitoring, the measurement and control system is not reliable after all. At this time, the line patrol operator needs to go to the site to check the status of the equipment in person and provide real information to the main operator. If everything is running normally and the main operators don't need to check the equipment on site, then the patrol personnel will go to the site to check the equipment and find hidden dangers as early as possible. So in general, patrol exercise is a post set up to assist the main exercise. Most of the patrol exercises are conducted on the spot during working hours, and they will not sit in the control room all the time.
