Poetry describing orchid

1. "The Thirty-eight Ancient Styles: A Solitary Orchid Grows in a Quiet Garden" by Li Bai of the Tang Dynasty

A solitary orchid grows in a secluded garden, and all the grass grows barren.

Although the sun shines brightly, the autumn moon is full of sadness.

The flying frost is pattering early, and the green color is afraid of resting.

If there is no breeze blowing, who will send out the fragrance?

Translation: A lonely orchid grows in a deep garden, and all kinds of weeds cover it up. Although the spring sunshine once took care of it, the autumn moon soon rose into the sky, making it fall into sadness again. The autumn frost, rain and snow are hitting the green leaves and red flowers, and Lan's life is probably about to end! If there is no breeze blowing, for whom will the orchids smell fragrant?

2. "Growing Orchids" by Su Che of the Song Dynasty

Orchids grow in the deep valleys and no one knows them. Visitors who plant them in Dongxuan leave their fragrance to me.

I know that there is clear fragrance that can relieve filth, and I even pity the thin leaves and the delicate frost.

The roots are dense with rocks and fragrant autumn grass, and the clumps lean against the trees to provide shade at noon.

When I wanted to send Miwu to the hall, I saw the Ci Zhang of Chu before my eyes.

Translation: No one appreciates the orchids growing in the valley. A friend planted some in Dongxuan and gave them to me. Its fragrance can relieve filth, and what's even more lovely is that its thin leaves can resist wind and frost. The roots are rooted on the edge of the dense stone, and the flowers bloom early in autumn. Clusters of leaves lean against the bamboo trees, providing shade at noon. I want to get milfoil and put it in the hall, so that I can often see the artistic conception in the poems of Chuci.

3. "Inscribed on Chunlan by Yang Cigong" by Su Shi of the Song Dynasty

Chunlan is like a beautiful woman who does not shy away from collecting it and offering it to herself.

Whenever you smell the fragrance of wind and dew, you can't see the deep wormwood.

The painting is realistic and vivid, and I want to complement the story of Li Sao.

He is like Lingjun, and he dare not wear his crown.

Translation: Spring orchids are like beauties, they don’t need to be picked, and their shy expressions take the initiative to show themselves in front of people. Even if there are too many fluffy grasses and wormwood, you can't see the spring orchids covered up, but with the breeze, you can still smell the refreshing fragrance from time to time.

Yang Cigong’s picture of Chunlan depicts Chunlan faithfully with wonderful brushstrokes, reaching the point where it can complement "Li Sao" and be worthy of Qu Yuan. Facing this spring orchid is like facing Lingjun, and people dare not desecrate him by wearing it on their head or body.

4. "Ying Orchid"? Southern Dynasties·Xiao Qing

Breaking the stem is admirable, and it becomes fragrant when you enter the house.

The flowers bloom without competition and contain a slight frost.

Translation: An orchid cut off with its stems and leaves can be worn. When placed in a room, the fragrance will naturally flow. It blooms but does not compete with other flowers. .
