Author: Wang Wei
No one can be seen in the silent valley, only the voice is heard.
The shadow of the sunset shone into the depths of the forest, and the scenery on the moss was pleasant.

There seems to be no one on the empty mountain, but I think I heard a voice.
The sun shines on me from the green moss.
The poem explains that people can't see people in the empty valley, but they can hear people talking. The afterglow of the sunset reflected into the dark forest, and the mottled shadows of trees reflected on the moss.
Empty mountain: empty mountain forest. But smell: only smell. However, we only return to the scenery: the light reflected by the sunset and the scenery, which is the same as the ancient "shadow".
Appreciation of Poetry This is the masterpiece of Wang Wei's later landscape poems. The fourth of the 20 poems in My Collection of Wangchuan is the place name of Wangchuan, Chai Lu. With unique feelings, the poet described the quiet and dark scenery of empty mountains and deep forests in the evening. This is a kind of silence with sound and darkness with light, which is the result of the poet's careful observation and concentrated experience. This poem is a harmonious combination of poetry, painting and music.
