In future generations, whenever the Chinese nation is in danger, Du Fu's poems will become the spiritual food of the whole nation. When the Northern Song Dynasty was about to perish, Zong Ze, a patriotic star, had no chance to cross the Yellow River to resist the nomads from the country because of the constraints of the imperial court. On his deathbed, he was obsessed with the poem "but before he could conquer, he was dead, and heroes have wept on their coats ever since" (Shu Xiang). Li Gang, who commanded the thrilling "Tokyo Defence War" in China's history, personally wrote Du Fu's poems to his relatives and friends at the critical moment of the enemy's siege to show his determination to swear with the city. The most famous example is Wen Tianxiang. He spent three years in prison after being caught by the Mongols in Yanjing. In three years, he remained unyielding, adhered to national integrity, and finally died calmly. What is supporting him? He said in "Songs of Righteousness" that "the eaves of the wind spread books to read, and the ancient roads shone with colors". This book is first and foremost a poem by Du Fu. Wen Tianxiang wrote 2 poems about Du Fu in prison, and reassembled Du Fu's original sentences into five-character quatrains as a core connotation of his national integrity. Even in modern times, when the news of Japanese imperialism's unconditional surrender reached Chongqing and Chengdu, Du Fu's "both sides of the yellow river recaptured by the imperial army" was the first thought of many people who had left their homes because of the war. The poem "news at this far western station! The north has been recaptured!, at first I cannot check the tears from pouring on my coat" can best express people's mood at that time.
Third, Du Fu is a person who attaches great importance to self-cultivation. His lifelong pursuit is to become a "Confucian". He was called "Poet Saint", which was first put forward by people in Song Dynasty, and he was regarded as a "master". Any traditional literati knows what these four words stand for, because this is what Mencius called Confucius. Mencius said that "sage" is "the highest level of human relations" (Mencius Li Lou), which is an unusual title. However, Du Fu didn't expect himself to be a "saint" all his life, but he was proud of his Confucian identity all his life. According to statistics, the word "Confucianism" appeared 45 times in his poems. Except for one time, it refers to "dwarf", and the other 44 times refer to "Confucianism". He called himself "Confucianism" and "Old Confucianism" ("Going to war to send the old Confucianism" and "Boating out of Gangneung Nanpu to send Zheng Shaoyin"), and even used the word "rotten Confucianism" which has always been ironic. We can't deny that he once wavered in Confucianism in his life, because he once said in "Seven Songs Composed by Living in Tonggu County in Ganyuan" that "Confucian scholars in the mountains have known each other for a long time, but their words hurt their arms in the past", and he lamented that his arms with a Confucian friend in the mountains had no chance to be realized. However, Du Fu's most precious thing is that even in this case, he did not change the core of his thoughts. Until his deathbed, when he was wandering on Dongting Lake, he could still proudly call himself "a rotten scholar in heaven and earth". Taking his life as a whole, he really meets the requirements of Confucius that "a woman (you) is a gentleman's Confucian, and a woman is a villain's Confucian" (The Analects of Confucius is Yong Ye).
Du Fu is an active member of the WTO. He doesn't see the darkness of politics like Li Bai, so he travels around the world and doesn't ask about political affairs. He is always looking forward to the opportunity to serve the king in the process of wandering around. In his early years, he called himself "just yesterday's Youth Day", and he had long been a state guest. Reading breaks thousands of volumes, and writing is like a god. Endow the enemy with materials, and build a family with poems. Li Yong asked for knowledge, and William Wang wished to be a neighbor. Self-proclaimed quite out, Li Deng wants Lu Jin. To the monarch Yao Shun, and then make the customs pure "("Give Wei Zuocheng Zhang 22 Rhymes "), the words are quite proud. It is such a person who is full of ambition, but he is not satisfied all his life. In the end, "Chang 'an is bitter and cold, and Du Lingye is sad." ..... Hunger is moving towards ten days, and we can't unite a hundred knots. Don't you see the end of the empty wall, when the sun is getting late, the old man's silent tears shed blood ("Investing in the Scholars of Jiancheng and Hua Counties"). However, his "entry into the WTO" is more manifested in his role as a civilian and his own morality as an example to influence others. In the history of China, there were many people with lofty ideals, but most of them were of the type of "dying at the national peril". Only Du Fu appeared on that long list as a civilian of "Shaoling Yelao" and "Duling Buyi". In this point of view, Du Fu is more like Yan Hui praised by Confucius ("Xian Zai Hui also! One scoop of food, one scoop of drink, in the mean lane, people can't bear their worries, and they don't change their fun when they go back. " "The Analects of Confucius Yong Ye"). Looking at it from another angle, Du Fu, who insisted on his ideals and actively demanded political progress under any circumstances, was even better than Confucius, who repeatedly complained that "Tao can't do it, but you can float on the sea by taking a fork" (The Analects of Confucius, Gongye Chang) and "I have lost my husband until the phoenix bird arrives and the river is out of the picture" (The Analects of Confucius, Zi Han). Confucianism has always advocated the idea of "endogenous king" and believed that a good politician must have noble moral sentiments, which is the so-called "self-desire to stand up and stand up; "If you want to achieve what you want, you can achieve it" (The Analects of Confucius Yong Ye) Ordinary people lead an ordinary life, and as long as they can achieve the perfection of their moral personality, they can be called "saints". Mencius originally admitted that "everyone can think of Yao and Shun", and by the time of Wang Yangming, this statement had evolved into "saints all over the street", because human nature is good and everyone can reach the level of moral nobility. But it is a pity that in the big dye vat of society, most people have lost their true colors. From this point of view, it is really commendable that people like Du Fu can exist in the world, so he can be called a "poet saint". The word "saint" pays more attention to his personality charm and moral standards.
The global commemoration p>42 years ago has long gone, but the image of Du Fu remains in the heart of everyone who loves poetry and advocates morality all over the world. As Mr Wen Yiduo praised in Du Fu, he is the most solemn, magnificent and permanent glory in our 4,-year-old culture.
