"The Strange Horn of Children" - Arnim

Arnim's contribution to the history of literature was compiled and co-edited and published by him in Heidelberg with Brentano Folk song collection "Children's Strange Trumpets". He compiled more than 700 folk songs from the Middle Ages to the 19th century, which had a profound influence on the poetry creation of later generations. Many composers such as Schumann, Mendelssohn, Brahms, ***, etc. have composed music for the folk songs in this collection of folk songs. His representative novella "Isabella of Egypt" narrates the love between humans and elves, elves and clay figures, and is full of sympathy for the wandering Gypsies in the world.
