Excerpted from Du Fu's "Feng He Jia Zhi Scheeren's Early Daming Palace" in the Tang Dynasty, the original excerpt:
Five nights, the sound missed the arrow, nine times drunk in spring. The flag warms the dragon and snakes, and the palace wind is slightly higher than that of the birds.
Cigarettes are full of sleeves, and poetry becomes pearls and jade. Want to know the beauty of human silk, there are phoenix feathers on the pool today.
Translation:
At five o'clock, the dripping sound of the leaking kettle hurried into the dawn. The palace is bright in spring, and the peach blossom is intoxicating. In the hot sun, banners, dragons and snakes are flying, and in the breeze, birds are flying high above the palace.
After the ministers retired from the DPRK, their skirts smelled of smoke, and they wrote gorgeous poems with pens. It is a great honor for Jia and his son to be in charge of the imperial edict from generation to generation; They are the only people who are so talented.

Creative background:
This poem was written in the spring of the first year of Gan Yuan, Tang Suzong (758). At that time, Du Fu was in the province under the door, and he was a colleague with poets Jia Zhi and Wang Wei. Jia Zhixian, a calligrapher in China at that time, wrote a poem "Daming Palace was a friend of the two provinces in the early dynasty". Du Fu, Wang Wei and Cen Can all wrote a poem of peace, and Du Fu's peace is this poem.
Theme appreciation:
This is a peace poem. The first couplet highlights the quick writing time of the "early dynasty" and the intoxicating scenery in the palace; Zhuan Xu wrote about the etiquette ceremony and natural landscape and atmosphere in the palace. The neck couplet writes that Jia Zhi is elegant and romantic, and he is favored by the monarch; The appendix praised his family's literary talent and the honor that his father and son were responsible for drafting letters.
This poem is rigorous in artistic style, distinct in pulse, and deeply integrated with the poem, which embodies the characteristics of Du Fu's poems, such as "clear pronunciation and beautiful sentences", and has a distinctive straight posture and heroic spirit.
