Dror Studio from new york completed the master plan of a park in Istanbul. The studio imagines the master plan of parkman Park as a network full of possibilities, including a series of distinctive areas, each with its own unique characteristics.
The design does not show visitors the path through the park, but asks them to write down their experiences. Many non-linear paths in the park, such as calligraphy, are interwoven in the existing woodland, which makes visitors get surprises and unexpected discoveries all the time.
The master plan includes five independent areas: the square, located at the entrance of the park, is an open space for tourists to gather; A ring consisting of a series of swings and hammocks swings over the vegetation in the forest; Inspired by the Turkish spice market, this pond is shaped like a big pit. Chord, a winding elevated trail forms a large-scale loop, which also incorporates a trampoline; Trees, labyrinthine roads, surrounded by sculptures in harmony with the landscape. There is a cube fountain at the end, and water flows around the cube.
There are few green spaces in Istanbul, and they are far apart. When designers are faced with how to design a park six miles north of the city center, how to attract people who are unfamiliar with nature to enter here? Become the primary problem. Therefore, the design of the park can eliminate anxiety and fear, reduce people's anxiety when they enter unfamiliar environments, and cultivate people's feelings for nature through rich networks. At the same time, I also hope to convey the deepest experience through the lightest touch, and strive to keep the forest in a lush state, and keep every tree in place according to the regulations of the city.
