Spring outing in Ji Xiang Temple —— My Fair Lady's backpack prose

Dry air, dry land, cars walking through the dust. Infinitely beautiful spring scenery, only enjoy a very limited part. Spring in the north is too dry.

Ji Xiang Temple thought about it many times, but today he decided to go to the station with the car.

Not far. Starting from Qu Wei, take bus No.320, and the one-yuan ticket will soon arrive at Ji Xiang Temple Village. Get off and walk less than 300 meters, then turn to a west street. Far away, I saw the brown street sign of the tourist landscape.

Not knowing the way to the Temple of Heaped Fragrance Road, misty mountains and clouds. "。 Ancient trees are towering, but there are no pedestrian paths, and there are bells in the mountains in the temple. The spring water in the mountains hits the dangerous rocks, and the sun in the pine forest is cold. Tan Qu at dusk, thinking that you can conquer the lust-dragon. This is a five-character poem "Crossing Ji Xiang Temple" by Wang Wei, a famous poet in the Tang Dynasty. In the poem, the author describes the profundity, quietness and leisure of Ji Xiang Temple, a fragrant country.

Ji Xiang Temple, as the ancestral home of Pure Land Sect, is as famous as Xuanzhong Temple in Shibishan, Shaanxi. During the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Pure Land Sect was introduced into China from Tianzhu, and its ancestor was in Hui Yuan, Lushan Mountain. According to legend, Hui Yuan, a famous monk, and the eighteen sages * * * formed a Lotus Society or a White Lotus Society, which is a pure land fellow practitioner, so Pure Land Sect is also called "Lotus Sect" or "White Lotus Sect". After its prosperity in the Northern Wei Dynasty, from the Tang Dynasty, Master Luan of Wutai County, Master Daochuo of Bingzhou to Master Guangming of Chang 'an, they all thought that the actual founder of Pure Land Sect was a good guide and respected him as the second ancestor. Pure land Sect advocates the name of Amitabha, thus moving towards the "pure land of the west" paradise. "Amitabha" is Sanskrit, which means infinite light, infinite life, infinite wisdom, virtue and wisdom. The pure land Sect developed by leaps and bounds in the Tang Dynasty, and it was widely popular in all walks of life after the middle Tang Dynasty.

There are two versions about the origin of temple names. One said that there was a fragrant weir flowing into Chang' an city next to the temple in the Tang Dynasty, and the other said that it came from the Buddhist scriptures, "Tianzhu is a fragrant country, and the Buddha's name is fragrant." In the Tang Dynasty (AD 6 13 ~ 68 1), there was a famous monk who was from Linzi, Shandong. On the basis of Buddhist classics such as Infinite Life Sutra, Viewing Infinite Life Sutra and Past Life Theory, he believes that the world is cloudy, and advocates "taking advantage of the Buddha's original force" and only reciting the name "Amitabha Buddha" to recruit believers. After that, he practiced in Zhong Nanshan, and wrote The Endless Sutra of Guanyin and Like a Ship. There are more than 1000 pieces of cultural relics and 100 pieces of flower treasures in Zeng Zeng Temple of Litchi in Tang Gaozong. It is called Ji Xiang Temple, which means comparing a good guide to a fragrant Buddha.

There is a good guide tower built in the Tang Dynasty in the temple, which was built by Huang Huai, a disciple of the second ancestor of Pure Land Sect in the second year of Tang Zhongzong Shenlong (AD 706) to offer sacrifices to good guides. On the west side of the temple, there is a good guide pagoda built in the Tang Dynasty, which is a square brick pagoda with dense eaves and imitation wood structure. Existing elevation 1 1, with a height of 33 meters. Ji Xiang Temple is considered as the birthplace of Pure Land Sect. The tower is made of blue bricks, with a wall thickness of 2 meters and a square plane, which is a wood-like structure. The top of the tower has been damaged for many years, and now it has eleven levels, with the highest level of 33 meters (it is reported that it used to be thirteen levels). There are 12 saddle-shaped semi-naked ancient buddhas around the tower, which are exquisitely carved and are really treasures. There are doors at the bottom of the tower on all sides, and the banner of "Nirvana Event (Time)" is engraved in the forehead of the south lintel, which was made during the renovation in A.D. 1768.

In the 9th century, when Ren Yuan (794-864 AD), a monk of Tiantai Sect in Japan, came to study in the Tang Dynasty, he brought his works of good guidance back to Japan to spread. In Song Dynasty, Japanese monk Farang (A.D.1133-1212) listened to the teachings of Pure Land Sect with his own ears, and founded Pure Land Sect in Japan with 500 followers. In his book, Farang publicly declared: "I am a good teacher and open a pure land Sect." Today, Ji Xiang Temple has become a witness to the religious and cultural exchanges between China and Japan.

Unfortunately, the orange river in the west outside the temple is yellow today, and the water quantity is limited. The dust is flying in front of me, but the voice of chanting in the temple still stays in my ears, and the words on the tablet still stay in my mind.
