Daming Pagoda is located in Ningcheng County, Chifeng City, in the ruins of Liaozhong Capital. Built in the 4th year of Emperor Shengzong of Liao Dynasty (A.D. 1035), it is the largest Liao Tower in China. Daming Pagoda is an octagonal brick tower with 13 floors, built on a rammed earth platform, with a height of about 6 meters and a height of 74 meters, and the length of each side of the base is 14 meters. The tower seat is sumeru-shaped and divided into two floors. The tower is divided into eight sides, with a Buddhist shrine on each side. There are eight raised statues carved in the niche, which are located on the balcony of Yang Lianbao. At the edge of every intersection, there are epigrams and their names in Buddhist scriptures. This statue is beautiful and lifelike.
