Full text of poetry:
How I wish there was a doorway.
In the morning, the sun shines on the grass.
We stood there guarding our door.
The door is low, but the sun is shining.
The grass is bearing seeds and the wind is shaking its leaves.
It's beautiful that we stand without talking.
If there is a door, you don't have to open it. It's ours and it's very beautiful.
Sooner or later, we will wander, and we will give him the harp.
We're not leaving. We need land.
Need land that will never be destroyed
We will ride it for the rest of our lives.
This land is rugged and sometimes narrow.
However, it has a history.
There is sky, moon, dew and morning.
We love the land. We stand and dig it with wooden shoes.
The door is hot, too. We lean against it gently, which is very nice.
The grass behind the wall won't grow again.
It just touched the sun with its fingertips.
Extended data:
Gu Cheng (1956— 1993), a Beijinger, is a contemporary poet and one of the representatives of the misty poetry school. Written in August of 1982, this song in front of the door is plain and clear, and it completes the natural innocence of rhythm and artistic conception with childlike reverie.
The poem in front of the door expresses a group of marginalized people represented by the author, who are eager to leave the group, settle down in a corner, return to nature, enjoy their freedom and reach a beautiful realm. They are a group of people, or two marginal people holding hands, eager for a good mood, good things and good people. They are silent, but they exude the fragrance of life.
