Prose began to develop in the Tang Dynasty, but it seemed to reach a peak in the Northern Song Dynasty. Su Xun, Su Shi, Su Zhe, Ouyang Xiu, Han Yu, Liu Zongyuan, Ceng Gong and Wang Anshi are the representatives of the Song Dynasty, except Han Yu and Liu Zongyuan who are the leaders of the ancient prose movement in the Tang Dynasty.
Among them, Su Shi's article stands out. He spoke highly of Han Yu and Ouyang Xiu's contributions to ancient Chinese prose, and his works are also eclectic, with great attainments in literature, poetry, ci and painting. Judging from the words alone, it is enough to admire all beings, whether people or articles, who have an admirable attitude of advancing and retreating freely.
Maybe everyone knows Su Shi's representative works very well. He said in Fu on the Red Wall? Vast as the wind in Feng Xu, I don't know where it ends; An independent world like a fairy, feathering into a fairy? "Ode to the Red Wall" is one of the required reading texts for senior high school Chinese, and it has almost been forgotten today, except this sentence.
