Cang Kejia was born in a small and medium-sized landlord family. This is a feudal family, but the cultural atmosphere is very strong. His grandfather and great-grandfather both had modest "fame" in the Qing Dynasty, and his father graduated from the School of Law and Politics. At the age of 8, his biological mother died, and his father suffered from lung disease, coughing up blood all the year round, and only lived to be 34 years old.
Due to the misfortune of his family, the poet had the opportunity to play with the children of poor families before entering private schools, thus gaining a deep understanding of the miserable and painful life of farmers.
Because of the strong cultural atmosphere at home, he was interested in literature and art since he was a child. The poet can still clearly remember some ballads he heard when he was young, such as: an old man with a long tail, who married his daughter-in-law and forgot his mother, and carried it to the ravine, and his daughter-in-law carried it to the kang. She went out to eat noodle soup and missed her mother, who became dung beetles, touching the south wall and touching the north wall.
Extended data:
Born in Zhucheng, Shandong Province, 1905. 1923 entered the first normal school of Shandong province. 1930 to 1934 When I was studying in Shandong University, I studied poetry under Wen Yiduo. 1933 published the first book of poetry, Brand. Since then, he has published many works, such as Old Horse, Black Hands of Evil, Spring Breeze Collection, Cheers Collection and Ode to Ancient and Modern Times.
On the morning of February 6th, 1905, when the reporter arrived at Zang's hometown, the familiar living room had been decorated into a simple mourning hall. There is a large black-and-white photo of Zang Lao laughing at his 90th birthday on the wall. On the opposite side of the poet's photo is an elegy written by an unsigned author: "A generation of articles has been circulated for a hundred years, and the wind and rain have cast the soul of poetry."
Zheng Man, his wife who took care of Zang Lao for more than half a century, told us: "On February 27th, last year, after being admitted to hospital, Ke Jia was reported to be in critical condition for six times, but all survived ... He finally left peacefully, as if asleep."
"I just went to the hospital to visit Kejia poetry friends yesterday, but I didn't expect it to be forever." Early this morning, Cheng Guangrui, an 86-year-old poet, trudged to Cang Kejia apartment in Xia Hong apartment on crutches.
When he saluted the portrait of a poet friend who had been friends for 60 years, the old man was already sobbing. Li Ding, an 88-year-old journalist, was almost blind and had not recovered from the fall, but he braved the cold wind to mourn his old friend. Ding Ning, an old writer with silver hair, cried and hugged Comrade Zheng Man as soon as he entered the door. ...
Writer Zhang Qie sighed deeply: Ke family not only conquered us with poetry, but also had great personality. In this regard, Zhang Shen, Secretary General of China Poetry Society, has feelings. He said that the year before last, a young poetess suffered from kidney disease and was in financial difficulties. When Zang Lao learned about it, he donated 3000 yuan at once.
In fact, life in Zang's hometown is not comfortable, and the furniture and furnishings at home are very old and simple. Even the herringbone coat he wore was in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
In Zang Lao's bedroom, the reporter saw piles of books on one side of the old wooden bed. Zang Lao, who loves reading and collecting books, has donated nearly 10,000 books in his family to his alma mater Shandong University and the Dongcheng District Library in Beijing in recent years. Zhu, the old editor of Poetry Journal, said that Zang Lao, as the president of the Chinese Poetry Society, told us many times that "we should not be open-minded but advocate the diversity of creation".
Talking about Zang Lao's poetic achievements, Zhang said that China's new poetry began in the May 4th Movement. Zang Lao is a participant and witness in the development of China's new poetry, and his works are also the epitome of the vicissitudes of China's history.
As Mr. Wen Yiduo said when commenting on his works: "There is no poem of Ke family that does not have very real life significance." Therefore, Zang Lao's influence will be long-lasting, and he deserves to be a monument in the history of modern and contemporary poetry in China.
Last August, 12 was the happiest day for Zang Lao to lie in his hospital bed for several months. On this day, the premiere of Complete Works of Cang Kejia was held in Beijing. The volume 12, which embodies the wisdom, hard work and sweat of the elderly, once again makes the literary world shine. And the dying old poet still has a fiery heart beating in his chest!
Zang Lao's daughter Zheng recalled: "My father struggled with illness and death for eight years. Although he was unconscious sometimes, when he was awake, he asked his family for a pen and drew shapeless circles on the paper trembling. When we asked him, "What did you write?" At that time, he firmly said:' the spirit of the times'! "
In his later years, Zang Lao often gave his favorite poems to his friends. The poem says: "I feel lush from the morning sunshine, so don't be proud of my white hair." Crazy to break the glass mirror, but also my youth is red. "The message he wrote for People's Daily on June 30th, 65438 this year was" The bowstring of the great era is waiting for the young arm strength ".
