Known as "the coolest film in Poland in the last 20 years", this film tells the story of a teenager who was exiled to cyberspace because of despair of reality.
Dominik seems to have everything, but he is lonely. Parents cheat each other. They are always busy at work and have no time to accompany him. At the high school party, the students played with each other, and two girls kissed each other. Dominik and Alex, a good boy in the class, also kissed enthusiastically, and made a video and put it on the Internet.
In judo class, Dominik fights with Alex, and Alex seems to be teasing him all the time, so Dominik reacts and becomes angry from embarrassment. Alex also talked about it online, which made Dominik even sadder.
At the same time, Sylwia, the author of a self-mutilation video he saw online before, invited him to participate in an online game (similar to a virtual chat room). Sylvia built a place called "sala_samobojcow" (suicide room), and Dominik joined them.
Dominik and Sylvia video, he gradually lost himself and was bewitched by Sylvia. Lonely for a long time, he needs someone who can understand himself. He thinks Sylvia seems to be. Dominik felt that she couldn't live without Sylvia, but Sylvia kept saying that she was going to commit suicide. She wanted Dominik to help him get the medicine. ...
Dominik's parents found something wrong with their children. They finally began to reflect and found a doctor, but they did not choose the right method. Push Dominik closer and closer to the cliff. It can be said that Dominik's tragedy was first caused by them, and finally they approached his death in the wrong way. They continued to betray each other until their son died.
Sylvia seems to be the savior of Dominik. He can't live without her, but she seems to be fake. Not only did Sylvia never commit suicide, but her reaction when she heard that Dominik died and the messy people and food at home contradicted what she said to Dominik. Sylvia fell in love with Dominik, but it also led to his death.
The last scene was heartbreaking. Damn people are not dead, and people who don't want to die are dead.
