Informationalism of China's Modernist Poetry Group

Informationism originated from online poetry. Since 1993, Shiyang has created and published poems through the computer network, gradually attracting other poets to join, and within two years, a considerable online poetry movement has been formed. From 65438 to 0995, Shiyang founded Olive Tree, the first online poetry magazine in China, and engaged in theoretical research on poetry creation with other online poets. He believes that online poetry creation has the characteristics of virtual reality network culture, and tries to explain and interfere with online poetry creation practice with information theory. 1998, after publishing two series of poems with different styles, Shiyang formally put forward the theory of information creation, seeking the transcendental essence of poetry in the information system based on the principle of comprehensive reconstruction of information. At the end of the 20th century and the 20th century, Informationism got further development. An Outline of Informationism was published on Times Poetry Online, and Informationism, Times Poetry Magazine and Network Poet were founded one after another.
