Erik Axel Carlfeldt (1864 ~ 193 1) is a Swedish poet. 193 1 year, won the Nobel Prize in Literature for his work "The Wasteland and Love". The reason for winning the prize is: "No one has ever doubted the artistic value of his poems". His poems praise nature, youth and love, create a new form full of tension between tradition and modernity, and make the revival and form reform of Swedish poetry law perfect.
Nobel Prize in Literature is only awarded to living writers, with Swedish poet Carl Feld as an exception. As a judge and lifelong secretary of the award, he has been nominated for the award many times, but he refused because he avoided suspicion. It was not until he died six months after retirement that he won the award.
