About autumn English poetry appreciation?

The autumn grass has feelings but withers away; the yellow flowers have no intention and lead to the distant view of Nanshan. The streets intersect and the smoke curls up from cooking fires, which is the endless poetry in autumn. I have carefully collected English poems about autumn for everyone to enjoy and learn!

English poems about autumn 1

Autumn autumn

by thomas ernest hulme

a touch of cold in the autumn night -

A touch of cold in the autumn night.

i walked abroad,

in the courtyard,

and saw the ruddy moon lean over a hedge

but saw the dizzy moon tilting Leaning on the fence,

like a red-faced farmer.

What like a red-faced farmer!

i did not stop to speak, but nodded;

While still talking, nodding,

and round about were the wistful stars

All the stars in the sky were deep in thought,

with white faces like town children .

Just like the white-faced children in the city.

English Poems about Autumn 2

That Time Of Year Thou Mayst In Me Behold

William Shakespere

That time of year thou mayst in me behold

When yellow leaves, or none, or few, do hang

Upon those boughs which shake against the cold,

bare ruin'd choirs, where late the sweet birds sang.

In me thou see'st the twilight of such day

as after sunset fadeth in the west;

which by and by black night doth take away,

death's second self, that seals all up in rest.

In me thou see'st the golwing of such fire,

that on the ashes of his youth doth lie,

as the death-bed whereon it must expire,

consumed with that which it was nourish'd by.

p>

This thou perceivest, which makes thy love more strong,

to love that well which thou must leave ere long.

You may see autumn in me< /p>

William Shakespeare

You may see autumn in me,

When the yellow leaves fall off, or only in twos and threes

Hung on the shriveled dead branches and trembling -

A deserted singing circle, where hundreds of birds once sang in chorus.

You may see the evening mist in me,

It slowly fades to the west after sunset:

Night, the personification of death, gradually drives it away ,

Strict and quiet rest envelopes all kinds of chaos. < /p>

Destroyed by the flames that nourished it.

After seeing these, your love will be strengthened,

Because he will leave you in a flash and suddenly leave.

English Poems about Autumn 3

A Fall Song

by Ellen Robena Field

Golden and red trees

< p>Nod to the soft breeze,

As it whispers, "Winter is near;"

And the brown nuts fall

At the wind's loud call,

For this is the Fall of the year.

Good-by, sweet flowers!

Through bright Summer hours

You have filled our hearts with cheer

We shall miss you so,

And yet you must go,

For this is the Fall of the year.

Now the days grow cold,

As the year grows old,

And the meadows are brown and sere;

Brave robin redbreast

p>

Has gone from his nest,

For this is the Fall of the year.

I do softly pray

At the close of day ,

That the little children, so dear,

May as purely grow

As the fleecy snow

That follows the Fall of the year.
