-Read "Birds"
There are many literary works in human history, which can be described as vast. Some works are timeless and sought after by many people, which can be called masterpieces. Among them, there are historical novels, biographies, historical works, artifacts research, classic excerpts, poems and songs, and so on.
One of the works is called Birds. Li Ao, a Taiwanese historian, writer and political commentator, commented on this book: "It has been written (19 16) for a hundred years, and it still looks like a magnificent sunrise. The philosophical thoughts in the book are like enlightenment, which makes people overwhelmed."
Recently, I opened this book, read it carefully, and played word games, which was quite rewarding. I thought and summarized one or two.
Poetry is attractive because it is thoughtful and close to the people. After working for more than 20 years, I have experienced a process of contact, indifference, familiarity and love for poetry and prose. When I first started reading prose, I felt like boiled water, tasteless and chewy. With the rich life experience, I gradually realized the ideological content contained in poetry and prose. For example, in "Birds", there are many philosophical thoughts-words say to the work: "I am ashamed of my emptiness"; The work says to the text: "When I see you, I know how poor I am." Ask and answer questions and explain the dialectical relationship between writing and work. Writing is the summary of work, and work is the practice of writing. Another example is "when picking petals, you can't get the beauty of flowers", you can't take care of both flowers and picking, you can't have both, and you are full of dialectical thinking.
The essence of birds is simplicity and simplicity, but it is rich. In this work, Tagore describes mostly insignificant things around him, such as flowers, birds, insects, fish, the sun, the moon, stars, clouds and morning water ... but there is great magic between the lines. I didn't know what it meant when I first heard it, but I am old. Everyone has accumulated life, but never accumulated and recorded it. Reading Tagore's works often leads to deja vu. When you read the sentence "The evening sky, in my opinion, is like a window, a lamp, waiting behind the lamp", "When a man is an animal, he is worse than a beast" and "If you lose the sun and shed tears, you will also lose the stars", it feels like something you said to yourself some time ago, but that was only recorded by Tagore. The first reading of Birds feels hazy, short, simple and simple, but after careful tasting, it feels rich and profound, which is the best combination of life precipitation and words.
Classics can make different people read different artistic conception. When reading a work, different people have different understandings of the meaning. Birds is a literacy textbook and a physical reading for children. Let young people read, this is a romantic love poem; Letting the elderly read is a summary of life experience. "She, love, trouble, soul ..." This is more like a beautiful essay, which makes people who believe in love taste sentimental, love and hate. This work, edited by Zheng Zhenduo, is to translate the author's English works into Mandarin, which can reflect the original works to the greatest extent. And our Chinese is rich in rhythm and connotation, from which we can also appreciate the happiness of reading and poetry. Many chapters, used for reciting exercises, must be quite brilliant. This also reflects the language control ability of the author and translator, which is excellent.
Trivial details bear witness to great humanity. Looking through Birds, there are 325 short poems, 67 crosses and 1 1 words, but each one is a rare analysis of human thinking. What seems to be writing is actually mostly about people, humanity and society. This way of writing makes people in the workplace who have no leisure time and only fragmented time very friendly. A moment of leisure, a few words, close reading, close your eyes, thoughts rise, and artistic conception suddenly arises. This is also an important reason why Bird still has a huge readership.
Finally, a short poem concludes: "Roots are underground branches, and branches are roots in the air". What is a root? What you think is fundamental; What is a branch? Birds are a branch. People can calm down in the complicated world and life, sum up some thoughts and form words, that is, they will carry forward their roots and flourish.
Is to remember.
