Whole book reading teaching

Far-sighted people in China have long realized that it is difficult to really cultivate students with profound academic education by relying only on a few textbooks. Chinese teachers must help students open the door to literature, let them "do less questions, read more books, read good books and read whole books", and take cultivating reading interest as the top priority in Chinese teaching. Only in this way can our Chinese teaching be scientific, effective and sustainable!

In the seventh and eighth grades, I read more poems and novels. In the eighth grade, I read biographies. In the ninth grade, I mainly read prose.

How to implement it?

First, make a reading plan. The plan is divided into long-term (junior high school), medium-term (every semester) and short-term (every month).

Long-term planning makes overall arrangements for reading book types, reading volume and reading objectives.

The setting of the medium-term plan should presuppose time, articles, reading skills, completion indicators, and arrange book selection. For example, in September of the seventh grade, I read The Most Beautiful March, and someone called my name, and set the following reading skills: poetry reading, comprehensive reading training, taking notes, and division of labor in groups. In addition, you can also set specific completion indicators: you can read poems with emotion, recite 30 modern poems, take notes as required, imitate poems, and form a reading style.
