Lu Xun studied in Japan in his early years. During the May 4th Movement, he advocated new ideas, new culture and new morality, and published the first vernacular novel Diary of a Madman in the history of modern literature in China, which became the main force of the new culture movement. After 1927, he settled in Shanghai, led the League of Chinese Left-wing Writers, and smashed the "encirclement and suppression" of Kuomintang culture.
Lu Xun, who took the place of Ge with pen, struggled all his life and was known as "soul of china". "Bowing one's head and being a willing ox" is a true portrayal of Lu Xun's life. Lu Xun's works, translations and letters are precious literary heritage and spiritual wealth left to future generations.
