Peacock Flying Southeast is a poem by Han Yuefu. Why is it written online? In the history of China literature, it is also called "Yuefu Double Unique" with Peacock Flying Southeast in the Southern Dynasties.
Peacock Flying Southeast is the first long narrative poem in the history of China literature, which Shen Guiyu called "the first long poem in ancient and modern times". Therefore, it is also called the longest long narrative poem in the ancient history of China and one of the glorious poems in the ancient folk literature of China. Peacock Flying Southeast and Mulan Ci in the Southern and Northern Dynasties are also called "Yuefu and Narrative Poetry". Later Peacock Flying Southeast, Mulan Poem and Wei Zhuang's Poem of Fu Qin in the Tang Dynasty were called "Three Wonders of Yuefu", which were adapted from a marriage tragedy that occurred in Lujiang County during the reign of Emperor Xian in the Eastern Han Dynasty (the county was a prefecture, and Hui County in Qian 'an at the end of the Han Dynasty was in Anhui Province). Singing through the ages has become an inexhaustible source of artistic creation.
Peacock Flying Southeast was first seen in the book Yutai New Poems edited by Xu Ling (507-582) of Chen State in the Southern Dynasties. The first volume of the book was called Wife's Ancient Poems. The preface to the poem says, "Liu, the wife of Zhong Qing, a petty official in Lujiang House, was sent by Zhong Qing's mother and vowed not to marry. His family forced him to die without water. When Qing heard about it, he hanged himself in the courtyard tree. When a person is injured, it is poetry. " Later, the Yuefu poem compiled by Guo Maoqian, a poet in the Song Dynasty, was included in the eighth volume of Miscellaneous Songs, entitled Jiao Zhongqing's Wife. Now the first sentence of this poem is generally called peacock flying southeast.
