I love you, that's all-a poem dedicated to my daughter Hassan (excerpt)

You are not my hope.

You are your own hope.

My unfulfilled dream is still mine.

It's none of your business, so let them have nothing to do with you.

Why not have a brand-new dream?

I didn't have to be there in that dream.

I am an aging thing.

But I'm not ready to dedicate my life to you.

This is my stubbornness

But I love you, my child.

I love you, that's all.

You are not my wealth, no.

If you must have wealth.

Then you are the wealth of time and the wealth of the future.

You are so precious, how can I keep it for myself?

All this time, I don't want to admit it

In fact, we are all miracles in the sense of life.

Just as the future will not be more important than the present.

You and I can only be part of each other's lives.

But I love you, my child.

I love you, that's all.
