Poetry Translator —— Wang Zuoliang

Wang Zuoliang, a poet, translator, professor and expert in English literature, was born in Shangyu, Zhejiang. When he was in middle school, he had published many poems in newspapers and periodicals. Mr Wen Yiduo selected two poems written in The National SouthWest Associated University in Modern Poetry Collection. The 1940s was the heyday of his poetry creation. He wrote such poems as Spring reminds me of Shakespeare, Eight Sonnets with Different Styles, Going to China, 1947, Night Scene of London, Paris Pier and Christmas 1948. Wang Zuoliang is a poet who is good at telling, commenting and translating poems. Many of his works are about poetry: History of English Poetry, History of English Romantic Poetry, Selected Poems of Scotland, The Realm of English Poetry, Selected Poems of England, Selected Translations of English Poetry, Reading Mudan's Poems, Selected Notes of Famous English Literature, etc.
