Reading and Sharing: Psalm 7 1-72 Ping

7 1 This poem is the poet's prayer when he is old and weak. Although he experienced great hardships in his life, he still kept his faith in God and looked up to God for the rest of his life, firmly believing that God would show his strength and beauty in his life. The theme of this poem can be summarized as: from young to old, God is my refuge.

This poem can be divided into three paragraphs:

(1-4) Facing the present-God's justice is my glory, which is the basis of the poet's prayer;

The poet's recognition of God's just nature (1-2), the poet realized that it was God's justice that gave him great comfort in his sufferings, and that a just God would not change, break his promise or let him down. Therefore, the poet prayed to God in three different words: save and pull people out of pain; "Rescue" helped him escape from prison; "Save" means help me.

The poet's recognition of God's ability (3) "God is my usual rock, rock and hut." It is pointed out that when we are in danger, we don't run to the Lord, but "live" in the Lord anytime and anywhere, with security.

The poet's recognition of God's salvation (4), there are three different names for the wicked here. They are not only evil, but also unjust and cruel. Who can save people from the wicked? Only almighty god.

(5- 13) Looking back-God's salvation is my trust and the poet's desire for self-confidence.

Looking back (5-8), he was blessed by God when he was a child. Through God's past experience, although many people think he is strange, he still praises God because his preferences and expectations are absolutely opposite to those of the world. The secret of his praise in suffering is to know the invisible God. And is closely related to him.

Statement of the Present Situation (9- 1 1) The poet expressed his heart to God for the second time, stated the present situation of the enemy's attack, and asked God to rely on him when he was old and weak.

? The poet's desire for self-confidence (12- 13), although the enemy abused him wantonly, the poet not only firmly sought God and trusted him in adversity, but also stated his wish: "The enemy will be humiliated, humiliated and destroyed."

(14-24) Looking to the future-God's actions are the praise of my life, which is the poet's firm ambition.

The reasons for the poet's praise in his whole life (14- 18) are God's righteous nature, unpredictable salvation and powerful salvation.

The poet described what God did to him (19-2 1), and thought that God was great, independent and unparalleled. Therefore, the poet is convinced that God's comfort has come to revive him and prosper again.

Determined to praise God's ambition all his life (22-24), praise God's wonderful deeds through poems, musical instruments, cheers and lectures, and let the enemy be humiliated forever.

? I hope that our heavenly father will have mercy on us, and through the truth revealed by this poem, we will have a deeper understanding of God's righteous nature and powerful salvation, so that we can all be full of praise for God in good times and adversity, just like poets: "... always hope and praise you more and more"; "Your praise and your glory will fill my mouth all day"; "My mouth will declare your righteousness and your salvation all day long ..."; Not only that, in your lifetime, "show your ability to the next generation and show your great strength to the next generation."

Psalm 72, this poem may be David's prayer for his son Solomon when he ascended the throne, and then it was widely used by the new king when he ascended the throne to express the people's wishes for the new king and show God's justice, authority and glory; Reflect the idea of ideal king and the effect of governing the country; Traditionally, it is believed that the content clearly points to the Messiah anointed by God, and it can be confirmed that this is a Messiah poem. So what kind of messiah does this person expect?

This poem can be divided into four paragraphs:

(1-7) King of justice and fairness-looking forward to the fair governance of the Messiah;

The poet prayed to God that Wang Gongyi's trial (1-4) would help the poor, promote the good and punish the evil, and make the country enjoy peace and the people live and work in peace.

The poet's vision of Wang's fair governance (5-7) is like showers nourishing the earth, making the people prosperous as the moon and the country stable as the sun.

(8- 1 1) Powerful-the prospect of the messiah being king;

? The scope of the king's rule (8), the poet tried his best to write the territory of the kingdom, from one side of the sea to the other, but also pointed to the governance of the Messiah country, including the whole world, all the oceans, lands and islands, and all the people on the whole land.

The ability of the king to rule (9), not only the scope of the king's rule extends to the promised land, but also the authority of the rule extends to the whole land, just like the authority of God, extending to the ends of the earth, and the enemy completely submits to him. This scene will eventually be fully realized in Messiah.

Glory of the King's Rule (10- 1 1) When the Messiah ascended the throne, people from all over the world came to worship and bow down at his feet, praising him for serving him.

(12- 14) full of compassion-a description of the merciful heart of the messiah as king;

? As a king blessed by God, it will be his bounden duty to uphold justice, eradicate the strong, help the weak and comfort the suffering people, so that he will benefit all countries and people. Under the rule of a kind and benevolent king, the whole world will be full of thanks and praise. However, none of the kings on the earth (including Solomon) has realized this beautiful ideal, and only the Messiah king deserves authority and respect, because the Messiah king has extraordinary sympathy for the poor and a great savior.

(15-20) Full of glory-praising the ultimate glory of the Messiah as king;

The great governance of the king brought the people's willing dedication (15- 17). The poet used a series of metaphors to describe the beautiful scenery of the place where the king had just ruled.

The poet's longing for the glory of God is all over the earth. The future power of the Messiah is the realization of David's utopia, and then everything will be brand-new. Because God's tabernacle is on the earth, he will live with people and be our God. He will wipe away all people's tears, and there will be no death, sadness, crying and pain.

May the truth inspired by this poem bring us beautiful blessings, firm confidence and eternal hope, and live out the value of our Christian life in this last time.
