Su Shi Xin Qiji's ci style is relatively broad.

Su Shi's broadness, Xin Qiji's lofty sentiments and the writer's personality are all revealed. The styles of ci are diverse, and the bold and graceful style dominates. As representative writers of bold and unconstrained ci style, Su Shi in the Northern Song Dynasty and Xin Qiji in the Southern Song Dynasty both have important positions. As the originator and master of bold and unconstrained ci style, their ci style has its own characteristics.

First, express different emotions.

1, Su Shi's boldness implies openness, and he prefers to be free and easy, broad-minded and bold.

2. Xin Qiji's ci gives people the feeling of generosity, elegy and passion besides lofty sentiments.

Second, the creative techniques are different.

1. In Niannujiao Chibi Nostalgia, Su Shi first interweaves the surging Yangtze River with fleeting history, and uses "One River never returns, a romantic figure through the ages" to express his praise for the majestic mountains and rivers and his memory of heroes.

2. In "Looking Back at the Gubei Pavilion in Le Jing, Yongyu", Xin Qiji focuses on using narrative brushwork to recall people who have appeared here for thousands of years. They either galloped on the battlefield and made achievements, or died in the battlefield and made no achievements.

Looking back on the past, the hero Xin Qiji felt more responsible in the face of the devastated mountains and rivers and the rise and fall of history, and could not help but be heroic. He said: "Who can ask, can Lian Po still eat when he is old?" He expressed his pent-up generosity.

Third, the artistic conception is different.

1, Su Ci, whether describing scenery or recalling heroic deeds, serves the lyricism of the author. Magnificent mountains and rivers and heroic achievements inspired the author's great ambition. In his ci, the author closely combines the description of scenery with the expression of characters' feelings, forming a grand, open, generous and sad artistic conception.

2. Although there is no direct lyric of the protagonist in Xin Qiji's ci, the author satirizes the present with the ancient, and expresses the author's thoughts and feelings very clearly by narrating allusions and connecting with current events.

The whole poem is full of the author's admiration for heroes and yearning for the fighting life of "swallowing Wan Li like a tiger". What it creates is a majestic and tragic artistic conception like a long river and a poetic artistic conception like Jian 'an.
