This is a collection of music reviews written by Li Wan from 200 1 to 2005. The evaluation targets are mostly domestic musicians. Including Cui Jian, Dou Wei, Pu Shu, Xu Wei, Wang Feng, Lingdian,, Gao,, Faye Wong, Chyi Yu, Su Rui,,, Feng Feifei and Huang Shujun. There are also new bands/artists such as Hu Mage, Zuo Xiaomao, Bailey, pk 14, Zhang Qianqian, Wu Hongfei, Supermarket, Trojan Horse, Nothing, Hong Qi, Wild Child, Wonderful Pharmacy, Circus on the Top Floor, Ruins, Sand, NAND Gate and Second-hand Rose. Speaking of the current situation of pop music, I will also mention the names of Jay Chou, Wang Leehom, Tao Zhe and others.
When discussing these musicians, the author will also comment on the current music situation and problems, and will also review his listening process of 6000 records in the past 20 years and the changes in our music environment.
There is too much content, I just glanced at it quickly. If, like me, you just want to know what new forces are worth listening to, just look at the last one: the cracking sounds in the dark.

The cover of this book reminds me of a book "Flowers in Full Bloom" written by Fang Hao. This book classifies folk songs by region: English folk songs, Celtic folk songs, American folk songs, Canadian folk songs, Latin American folk songs and Brazilian music. But at present, I can only reach the level of going through American folk songs, and I can go to Canadian folk songs at most, because I didn't know those musicians were originally from Canada and thought they were from the United States.
The range of folk songs has become wider here, for example, in American folk songs, from the early lead belly, Sonny Terry, Woody Guthrie and pete seeger to the transitional Kingston Trio and Journey Man, and then to the urban folk songs phil ochs and Simon &; Joan baez's garfinkel, to folk Bob Dylan, joan baez to folk rock Bob Dylan, Mr. and Mrs. Byrd, C.S.N.Y. to psychedelic rock Die of Gratitude, Pink Floyd, to 80' s songwriters Tim Buhley, paul simon, james tyler, Suzanne Vega, 90' s Tori Amos, P.J. Harvey, and Dido blue-collar rock Bruce Springsteen. For backward bands such as Nirvana, Collision and Sonic Youth, the author also tested the folk elements in their music.
I can only see American folk songs now, and I hope I can be interested in other parts later.
