Achang (182 1 ~ 1899), called the eldest mother by Lu Xun, was born in Dongpumenlou, Shaoxing, Zhejiang. She was Lu Xun's nanny when he was a child.
The eldest mother's husband's family name is Yu, and she has an adopted son named Wu Jiu, who is a tailor. She had a daughter and later recruited a son-in-law.
