Tang Gaozong Xianheng two years (672), when Wang Bo roamed Bashu, he expressed his homesickness. In just over twenty words, the poet skillfully uses scenery to express his feelings, showing solemn and stirring momentum and creating an open artistic conception of blending scenes.

The first sentence, "The sorrow of the Yangtze River has stagnated", is to rise from the scene. The poet saw the Yangtze River meandering eastward on the mountain in the middle of Shu, which touched the melancholy of living in a foreign land for a long time. Ancient poets often used rivers to express their worries about travel. For example, Xie Shu, a poet in the Southern Dynasties, famously said, "The river flows day and night, and the guests are sad." Wang Bo's artistic originality lies in that he not only thrives on the great river, but also injects his own sadness into the great river, making the Yangtze River emotional and personalized. The poet lives in Bashu. His heart is entangled with homesickness. Therefore, when he overlooks the Yangtze River on the mountain, he feels that this vast and flowing river is also sad for his long stay, so that its water flow is sluggish. What a novel imagination this is! This novel imagination is not only due to the poet's "empathy" function, but also conforms to the real feelings of life. People look at the Yangtze River on the mountain, because it is far away, they can't see its rolling waves clearly, and often feel that the river is stagnant. Therefore, the sad image of the Yangtze River in this poem also truly expresses the poet's intuitive feelings. The sorrowful Yangtze River shares the same feelings and sings with the sorrowful poets, which strongly infects the readers' emotions. At the beginning of the poem, the realm is very tragic.

It was after the poet created the tragic and stagnant novel image of the Yangtze River that he directly expressed his feelings in the second sentence "Wan Li misses his hometown", pointing out that he was in a foreign land and deeply lamented Wan Li's long-awaited return. The words "sadness" and "yearning" are the eyes of the whole article. What this poem wants to express is the sad feeling of missing my hometown and not coming back.

But "sadness" and "thinking" are still abstract. How can we express this abstract emotion concretely and vividly? Let people smell, see, touch and feel?

Therefore, the poet firmly grasped the immediate environment and scenery and wrote two sentences: "Love is high and the wind is late, and red leaves fly all over the mountains." Literally, these two sentences are purely about scenery. They said that he was caught in the late autumn wind and blew off the yellow leaves on every mountain. There are no words to express feelings directly here, but we strongly feel that the poet's strong feelings are permeated in this bleak autumn wind and in the yellow leaves of Qian Shan Wanling. Autumn scenery here means both "comparison" and "prosperity". Judging from the function of "Xing", in such a bleak and bleak environment, the poet's homesickness is unbearable and difficult to resolve. Judging from the function of "Bi", this bleak autumn wind and yellow leaves is a symbol of the poet's bleak mood and wandering situation. These two sentences may have used the poem "Sad, Autumn is too angry, bleak, and the vegetation is withered" in Song Yu's Nine Arguments, but they have not been used for simulation, which has added a layer of association to the readers and played a role in the artistic conception of the poem.

Judging from the artistic conception of the whole article, the poet adopted the artistic technique of "proceeding from the law". With a stroke of a pen, you can use scenery to arouse your feelings, and in the end, you can combine your thoughts and feelings into a vivid and open picture for readers to taste from the painting. In this way, the artistic effect of endless thoughts is received.
