Don? In Chu Liang's Lin Gaotai, "the light floats with the sky and the shadow grows deeper."

Lin' gaotai

The high platform is temporarily tilted, and the flying wings are lightly shrugged.

The floating light goes with the sun, and the shadow is getting deeper and deeper.

Ye looked back and felt relaxed.

This made Chitose hurt. ?

Bookworm's personal opinion:

Judging from the whole poem, the poet's heart was hurt, so he climbed high and looked far to express his sadness.

Rise: The poet boarded the platform with a gloomy mood, sometimes staring at the distance, sometimes overlooking the scenery, and the sound of birds flying in his ear.

Cheng: The rays of sunshine float gently on the water, and will gradually disappear with the passage of time, and the reflection inside will drift with the tide and be at a loss.

Turn: Looking back, I saw the open Ye Ping around me, and my heart was relaxed.

Together: stand alone on this high platform and express your eternal sorrow heartily.

It was not until the late Tang Dynasty that it began to imply seclusion, which should still mean climbing high.
