Border assessment

The establishment of the border website opened the prelude to the online poetry movement in China. In the following year, dozens of influential poetry websites and forums were born. Before that, China's poetry writers did not enjoy real artistic equality. Whether they have enough talent needs to be decided by the literary world and publications. Online poetry movement has added a fast channel for poets and readers. As a result, dozens of little-known poets appeared in the readers' field of vision, gained wide popularity, and finally won the respect of the poetry circle, becoming the leading poet in China today. The pioneering work of the border website should not be forgotten.

Borderline website also directly hatched the Borderline Poetry Group, a group of independent poets who did not participate in debates and genres, and wrote and discussed silently here, forming an indispensable landscape of China's poetry. Li Yuansheng, Pope, He Fangzi, Su Qian, Ye Lijuan, Yang Xiaoyun, Cao Dong, Liu Qingquan, Nishino, Jin Lingzi, Mei Zhangzongwei, Wei Song, Liu Dongling, Li Haizhou, Yu Xiaozhong, Zhang Zuogeng, Messiah, Zhong Shiwen and Ruoshui are all active figures in this poetry group.

From June, 5438 to February, 2009, Borderline website also published a heavy collection of poems "Borderline: Selected Works of Ten Years of Online Poetry Movement in China" (published by Chongqing University Press, edited by Xiye and Su Ruoxi), taking Borderline website as a reference point, timely combing the ten years of online poetry movement in China.
