I love this land
Ai Qing
If/I were a bird,
I should also/use my hoarse throat/ Singing:
This land that is battered by storms,
This river that is always raging with our sorrow and anger,
This endless land / The blowing / angry / wind,
And the / extremely gentle / dawn from the forest...
Then / I died,
< p>Even the feathers rot in the soil.Why/are there always tears in my eyes/?
Because / I love this land / deeply...
