Hallelujah Choir is a oratorio, which is selected from Handel's play Messiah. All the lyrics are taken from the Bible. Hallelujah is Hebrew, which means praise to the Lord in Chinese (English "praise to the Lord"). "Hallelujah" means "praise" in Hebrew, and "Yahya" is short for "Jehovah". Hallelujah means praise the Lord for you.
Hallelujah Chorus is Handel's most famous work. Hallelujah originally meant to "glorify the Lord and praise the Savior". This chorus has become the climax and essence of the whole work, and it is also the most frequently performed section at present. It is well known to women and children in western countries, and it is magnificent and touching. This chorus is composed of a male voice and a female voice, and the alternation and harmony between the voices are particularly harmonious, with a continuous sense of echo.
Brief introduction of the author
Handel, an English musician, has never been married. Without a family, he devoted his life to music. Gandel has an amazing appetite and a bad temper. In particular, he is very strict about the performance of music. He never leaves his words to poor singers or performers. Everyone he has worked with has been called a dog.
On the other hand, he is a very grateful and kind person. He often gave charity performances for orphanages before his death. In his will, he made it clear that he would distribute all his property to the poor in need and those who had helped him.
Handel, like Bach, suffered from cataracts in his later years, and the severity almost reached blindness. To make matters worse, the ophthalmologist Gandel turned to was the one who "cured" Bach's eyes! Han Deer's operation by a well-known doctor still failed unfortunately, and Han Deer's old age can only be "darkness"!
1759 In April, Handel's last concert was Messiah, and Handel died eight days later. After his death, his body was buried in the cemetery of Westminster Abbey in England. Although he was born in Germany, he was eventually respected and remembered by the British and buried in this land.
