Lao She Literature Award: This award is the highest award in China at present. It is a comprehensive literature and art award for the whole country, held once every three years, jointly organized by Lao She Literature and Art Foundation and Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles. Lao She Literature Award was established in May 1988. The literature awards include novel award, novella award, prose award, drama script award and youth drama literature award.
Mao Dun Literature Award: This award is the first literary award named after an individual in China, and only rewards novel creation. Mao Dun Literature Award is sponsored by Chinese Writers Association. Founded in 1982, it is selected every four years.
Lu Xun Literature Award: This award was established to encourage the creation of excellent novellas, short stories, reportages, poems, essays, essays, literary theories and critical works, encourage the translation of excellent foreign literary works, and promote the prosperity and development of socialist literature. Established in 1986. 1997, the first phase of the award work was officially launched. Sponsored by the Chinese Writers Association, it is selected once every three years.
Cao Yu Drama Literature Award: This award is the national excellent script creation award, which represents the highest level of drama creation in China. Its predecessor was the National Excellent Screenplay Award, which was founded in 1980. 1994, the award was renamed Cao Yu Drama Literature Award. At present, it is selected once a year, and each session is awarded with the 10 official award and the 10 nomination award.
