How to wear spiritual military uniform

Paul called on the believers in Ephesus to rely on the power of the Lord and be strong. Because this generation is evil and controlled by a group of evil forces. Christians living in such a world should always pick up all the military uniforms given by God and fight against them. Paul hoped that they would win the spiritual battle and gain a foothold. Then, if Christians want to gain a foothold, they need to wear several important spiritual uniforms of God.

(1) Wear the belt of truth. The main function of the belt is to tighten the clothes or trousers on the upper body, so as to avoid being disturbed by clothes and losing your life at any time in the war. Paul quoted the truth as a belt to express that Christians need to rely on the truth to restrain themselves, so that they can penetrate into the war wholeheartedly without hindrance. Similarly, truth can release people, and only through truth can people be free from it.

(2) Wear appropriate goggles. The main function of the heart protector is to protect the heart and organs, because it is hard and is the key equipment to prevent the enemy from hitting it with one blow. Righteousness (or justice) is a unique attribute of God, which is related to holiness. If Christians obey the Holy Spirit and unite with Christ, the righteousness of God will be manifested in Christians and become the breastplate of the Holy Spirit. If the Christian life is unjust or unholy, our life is like a sheep entering the tiger's mouth, tempted by the devil's tricks at any time.

(3) Put on the boots of the gospel of peace. There were nails on the soles of ancient soldiers' boots, which were used to firmly grasp the ground during the war. Christian faith can stand firm, so we need to rely on the gospel of Christ all the time. It is entirely because of Christ that we can make peace with God today.

(4) Wear the rattan card of Shun Tak. The ancient shield was very big because it could protect the whole body. By faith, Paul means the true word of God. God's Word is the evidence that we Christians rely on. A Christian who always lives by God's Word can resist the temptation of Satan. Even if Satan attacks believers with any "rocket", Christians can resist it because of the protection of God's truth.

(5) Wear the helmet of salvation. As we all know, the helmet is nothing more than protecting the head and brain. Paul wants to convince Christians that Satan sometimes uses anything at any time to incite our confidence in salvation. Brothers and sisters, salvation is the eternal guarantee of Christians. No matter what the devil deceives, he can't shirk it, because it's a fact, as Peter said in 1 Peter chapter 3 to 10. However, as for how Christians grasp salvation, this process is like feeling. When you are willing to obey, you have a guarantee. Paul wants us to keep our promise, rely on this fact of salvation, and take up God's sword (God's word) to resist or destroy the devil's tricks.

(6) Adjust the life of prayer. Paul hopes that Christians' prayer life will be diversified: "be multifaceted, pray according to God's will at any time, be alert and persistent." This can help Christians better face spiritual wars and pray for each other through intercession among believers.

Brothers and sisters, what have you been struggling with recently? After reading this spiritual scripture, do you gain confidence and strength from it? As Christians, we should make sure that the military uniform given by God is the fortress of life, and the devil can't break it with tricks. At the same time, we should also know that in this generation, Christians are bound to have spiritual wars. In this case, we should wear this military uniform.
