Translation:
No one often says that contentment is enough, and in the end everything is empty. There is a fine line between ideal and reality.
Who has no strong wind when it rains, faithful wife. The flowers were rejected and fell, but unfortunately there was no residue left in this life.

In the first sentence of the poem, I wrote about the height of the ancient pagoda on the peak and the height of my foothold. Creation background
After two years' tour (1050), in the summer, when the poet Wang Anshi was in Yinxian County, Zhejiang Province, he returned to his hometown Linchuan, Jiangxi Province and wrote this poem.
