Content: The east wind blows thousands of flowers and trees down at night, and the stars are like rain. BMW's carved cars fill the road with fragrance. The phoenix flute sounded, the jade pot turned light, and fish and dragons danced all night. The moths are covered with golden threads of snow and willows, and the laughter is full of hidden fragrance. The crowd looked for him thousands of times, but suddenly looking back, he found that man in a dimly lit place.
Author: Xin Qiji
Author introduction: Xin Qiji (1140-1207), courtesy name You'an, No. Jiaxuan, was born in Licheng (today's Jinan, Shandong). Born in the original Northern Song Dynasty area occupied by the Jin people, he launched an uprising in his hometown at the age of 21 to fight against the Jin army, and later defected to the Southern Song Dynasty. Since the ruler of the Southern Song Dynasty was in a corner, it was difficult to realize his ambition of resisting the Jin Dynasty. He was only assigned to serve as an assistant envoy to Hubei, Jiangxi, Hunan, Fujian, and eastern Zhejiang. In his later years, he lived leisurely in Jiangxi for more than 20 years. Xin Qiji, whose lofty ambitions were hard to repay, placed all his sorrow, anger and loyalty in his Ci, which was vigorous and unrestrained and powerful. Following Su Shi, he pushed the bold Ci to the peak of development, and was called "Su Xin" together with Su Shi. Some of his lyrical and allegorical lyrics are sometimes written with euphemism, twists and turns, easily and fluently.
Translation: On the night of the Lantern Festival, it seemed as if a gust of east wind blew, blowing up the lush trees and flowers. It turned out to be fireworks, blooming thousands of layers of prosperity in the night sky, and then being blown down by the wind one after another, like a stream of fireworks. An unexpected meteor shower. Precious horses and gorgeous carved carriages carry beautiful people passing by, and the fragrance fills the whole street. The whistle is like a song, the bright moon is bright, time passes quietly, and the lanterns (fish lanterns, dragon lanterns) are blooming all night long, which is so beautiful. Beauties are like flowers and ladies are like clouds. They smile and chatter along the way, and gradually fade away with their faint fragrance. However, they are not the person in my heart. It's late at night, and the person I've been looking for and waiting for thousands of times has not yet appeared. My heart was full of exhaustion and loss. When I looked back inadvertently, I found her standing quietly in that dimly lit place.
"The crowd searched for him thousands of times, but suddenly looking back, he was in the dimly lit place." Appreciation:
The first meaning: It shows the twists and turns on the road of love. Love is a way of existence.
The second meaning: the author uses this to express his ambition. It expresses that oneself is as noble, self-restrained, self-admiring, demure and elegant as the woman in the poem. Reluctant to go along with the prevailing world style and dark reality, he would rather stand alone in a dimly lit place than to lower his ambitions and join in the fun with those in power who have different aspirations.
The third meaning: it expresses a state of life, or a philosophy. This philosophy or state is an understanding that transcends time and space in life, and is eternal and cosmic. It will not be erased or forgotten due to different years, encounters and environments.
Wang Guowei's "Human Words" says:
Those who have achieved great things and learned great things in ancient and modern times must pass through three realms: "Last night, the west wind withered the green trees. Going up to the tall building alone, Looking to the end of the world. "This is the first realm. "The belt is getting wider and wider, but I don't regret it anymore. I feel haggard because of the loss of my clothes." This is the second state. "The crowd searched for him thousands of times, and when I turned around, I suddenly saw that person there, in a dimly lit place." This is the third realm. None of these words can be said by a great poet.
This is Wang Guowei's profound reflection on the success of countless great businessmen and great scholars in history, and he made a core summary, which was cleverly and vividly crystallized in literary imagery. He discovered that the success of great men has the same internal logic, and that logic is in the three poems and sentences of Yan Shu, Ouyang Xiu, and Xin Jiaxuan.
The first realm: "Last night the west wind withered the green trees."
What kind of scene is it? Last night, a strong west wind blew, and the leaves on the big green trees fell one by one. A little confused, a little desolate. This is an image of change. The time sequence is changing, the objects are changing, the world is changing, and the mentality is also changing. The distant road to the end of the world is in my eyes, and endless confusion is in my heart.
The second realm is: the clothes are getting wider and wider, and you will never regret it, and you will feel haggard because of the beauty.
He is persistently pursuing the goal on the established path, but he has "no regrets" and is "haggard" for it. There is not only physical suffering here, but also mental tempering. As Wang Guowei said, you can even "have no regrets" to the point where you can "sacrifice your life's well-being" for the pursuit and ideals, and would rather "Purgatory" Kung Fu.
The third realm is: looking for him thousands of times in the crowd, turning around and suddenly seeing that person there, in a dimly lit place.
This means that if you find the path in the right direction and pursue it persistently, after thousands of hard work, you will achieve something. In the end, you will suddenly become enlightened, seek for "truth" and "yes", and thereby transform yourself. What a gratification it is to have all these discoveries flow into the long river of truth!
Wang Guowei cleverly used this very poetic realm here. It was the Lantern Festival, with crowds of tourists and sea of ??lights. It was difficult to find the ideal beauty in my heart in such a scene, so even though I searched thousands of times, I couldn't find it. However, in the end, I suddenly looked back. At that time, I found that the man was in the dim light, and the beauty was in the cold light. What joy! What a joy! How unexpected and yet reasonable!
This kind of joy is not easy for ordinary people to realize. Just as Wang Guowei once said: "My wife has been studying for many years, but once she suddenly realizes the truth of the universe and life; she may be confused and elusive. Once the artistic conception is expressed in words, paintings, and sculptures, it will solidify the development of his innate ability, and the happiness at this time is by no means something that the king of Nan Mian can change. "This is something that even the king of Nan Mian can enjoy. What is not available cannot be exchanged.
