Appreciation of Lin Bu's Works

Xiaomei in the mountain garden

Flowers withered, unique plum blossoms swept out against the wind, and the scenery of the small park was beautiful. "Mottled shadows hang obliquely on the clear shallow water, and their fragrance spreads peacefully in the moonlight dusk."

Cold birds want to fly, first glimpse plum blossoms; Butterflies will be enchanting if they know the beauty of plum blossoms. Fortunately, there are micro-songs to compare, and there is no need for sandalwood golden jars.

Lin Bu (967- 1028) was born in Qiantang (now Hangzhou, Zhejiang). After his death, he gave two people, Shi and Jing, which were later called Shi and Jing. He has never been an official in his life and lived a quiet and indifferent life. He especially likes plum blossoms. He planted plums and raised cranes in Gushan for decades, and was called "Plum Wife Crane". Writing such beautiful plum blossom poems is based on his life.

Xiaomei in the Mountain Garden is a poem about things. In the history of China's poetry, there are many poems that express the poet's feelings by chanting things, which are generally called chanting things. Like ancient love poems, it is numerous and has become a major category of classical poems. Yongmei is also a large part of the poems about objects. Throughout the ages, many poets have sung plum blossoms. Among such a large number of Yongmei's works, Lin Bu's "Xiaomei in the Mountain Garden" is one of them.

At the beginning of the poem, the plum blossom is different in quality. "Fragrant flowers are swaying to the small garden", and the flowers are falling and dying, but the unique plum blossoms are flourishing. She is the only one who occupies the beautiful scenery in the small garden. It is rare to write plum blossom so beautifully, although it is not original to praise its pride in snow and cold tolerance in classical poetry and to entrust the poet's unswerving character in adversity. The poem "Thin shadows and shallow waters, thin fragrance floating at dusk" has always been praised by readers as Yongmei's swan song. The beauty of plum blossom is different from the richness of peony and the brilliance of peach blossom, but a kind of elegant and demure beauty. In this couplet, the elegance and demure of plum blossoms are perfectly displayed. How can we achieve such an artistic effect? The author did not simply introduce her directly, but wrote about her posture and her fragrance.

The last sentence, sparse plum branches, criss-crossing, reflected in the shallow pool in Ming Che. I wrote posture, but I didn't write posture directly. The focus was on Meiying in the water. Therefore, readers feel more about her swaying. Next, at dusk, under the pale moon, there are wisps of fragrance floating far away. This is about plum blossom fragrance. Our traditional appreciation interest in China pays attention to elegance and rhyme, and does not need strong stimulation. That kind of rich aroma comes to the nose, and the charm and taste are inevitably slightly inferior. The fragrance written here is a faint fragrance. So it is elegant and interesting. Posture and smell give people such aesthetic feeling because the author wrote it in a special background. Scattered plum branches are reflected in the water, and readers feel the swaying plum shadows. The water in the writing place is clear and shallow in Ming Che; There are wisps of fragrance floating under the moon. Here, the moon is also the first month of dusk, especially under the dim moon. In this way, the environment and atmosphere are integrated with the delicate fragrance of plum blossoms.

It can be seen that it is very reasonable for readers of all ages to appreciate this couplet so much. "Frost birds want to see first, butterflies like to know each other" means the attitude of frost birds and butterflies towards plum blossoms, which strengthens the beauty of plum blossoms depicted in the previous couplets from the side. Frost bird refers to both the birds in frost and the white feathers of birds. If the frost bird wants to stop on the plum branch, it must take a peek first. What is written here is that Frostbird dare not treat plum blossom casually, but love and respect it. If Pindie knew there were plum blossoms, she must have infinite affection for her. In this way, the beauty of plum blossom is shown from the attitude of other animals to her. In terms of writing, in the previous sentence, the frost bird wants to be true; In the next sentence, there are no butterflies when plum blossoms are in full bloom, and it is empty to assume that the language of "such as" and "he" is used. Very particular about words. "Fortunately, there are micro-songs comparable, and there is no need for sandalwood gold statues", which means that those who can get close to plum blossoms are fortunate to have the elegance of whispering poetry; No booze, singing and dancing. The author here endows plum blossom with humanity. This "man" is not the kind of layman who pursues material enjoyment in vain, but a man of noble character and elegance. In this way, the plum blossom image in the poem has a strong emotional color of the author himself.

Poets and plum blossoms are not the objective relationship between description and description, but spiritual harmony. This poem has far-reaching influence. Later, Plum Blossom Pond, Dimfragrance, and Thin Shadow of epigraph were all inspired by Lin Hejing's poem.
