Juan Ramó n Jimé Ramon Jimenez (188 1- 1958) is a Spanish poet. Born in mogu El, a small town in the south of Andalusian Plain. 1896 went to Seville to study painting and study law at the university. Soon he gave up painting and law and began to create literature.

Ximenes accepted the influence of modernist poetry at the beginning of his creation, and attracted the attention of poetry circles with his unique poems. 1900, Ruben Dario, the founder of Latin American modernist poets, summoned him in Madrid and presented him with poems soon. In the same year, Ximenes published poems "White Water Lily" and "Purple Soul". This year, due to the sudden death of his father, the poet's body and mind suffered a great blow, and grief made him live in a nursing home many times. After recovering from illness, he returned to Madrid poetry circle and 19 16 went to the United States. Poetry creation in this period mainly praised nature and expressed strong nostalgia for childhood and hometown. However, because the poet is troubled by sadness, the style of poetry is deep and sad, and the hymn contains an elegy. The main collections of poems are Poem Rhyme Collection (1902), Aria by Pei Ai (1903), Far Garden (1904) and the first elegy collection Pure Elegy (1909).

19 16, the poet married the Puerto Rican poetess and translator senovia in the United States. This combination led to a major turning point in Ximenes's life and creation, from which the poet's life, spirit and poetry took on a new look. Therefore, the poet's creation entered the second period. During this period, the influence of modernism faded obviously, forming a unique style with fresh style and beautiful artistic conception. The main works in this period include the long poems Diary of a Newly Married Poet (19 17), Eternity (19 18) and Stone and Empty (19 19).

During the Spanish Civil War, the poet sided with the Republic and was forced into exile. During World War II, he ran for peace and called on the people to oppose the war. The main works of this period are the collection of essays "Spaniards in Three Worlds" (1942) and the long poem "Space" (1954), which are the most outstanding representative works of symbolism in the 20th century. In his later years, the poet was dissatisfied with the Spanish dictatorship, settled in Puerto Rico, engaged in the study of poetry theory, and advocated the creation of "pure poetry." His poetry and poetics have a great influence on Spanish poetry. "Because of his Spanish lyrics, he became the best example of high spirit and pure art", and he won the Nobel Prize in Literature with 1956.
