Do you know that there was a famous Mao Zemin in the Song Dynasty on August 4th?

Text/Du Doudou

Chairman Mao Zedong has three brothers, and Chairman Mao is the eldest in the family. During the Long March, Chairman Mao's second brother, Mao Zemin, was in charge of the Red Army's finance together with Lin. Unfortunately, at the age of 47, he was killed in Xinjiang and secretly killed by the enemy.

However, did you know that there was also a famous Mao Zemin in the Song Dynasty?

Mao Zemin in Song Dynasty, full name Mao Kun, word Zemin, a great writer in Northern Song Dynasty, was a colleague with Su Shi. Su Shi praised him as "elegant and healthy, with peerless elegance." Among the 300 poems in the Song Dynasty, one "Parting" was recorded. He said that his works are "flourishing and quite bold", "The works are magnificent, and Wang Yang is arrogant, which is the balance of two and a half Soviet Union."

Let's read his masterpiece "parting with sorrow, tears wet the dew":

In modern poetic style, I tried to translate the following poem:

Stop; see you again

Your face is wet with tears.

Like a flower covered with dew

Your sadness locks your brow.

Like a green mountain, it is green.

Know or not?

This sadness of parting

You take half and I'll take the other half.

I have a Qian Qian knot in my heart

Just silently looking at each other.

Stop; see you again

Your beautiful image disappears into the air.

Like a broken rain, I have no impression.

Your laughter is scattered in the wind.

Like a remnant cloud, it has lost its color.

Know or not?

The smell of loneliness

You taste half and I'll hide the other half.

There are many ideas in my heart.

But only silence.

I just hope tonight

Deep in the mountains

My broken soul

Can follow the surging tide

Back to you.

I especially admire Mr. Xu Yuanchong for translating 300 Song Ci into English. Among them, this song "Sorry to fly, tears are wet and dry, and flowers are exposed" is very wonderful.

Excerpts from Mr. Hui's translation are as follows:

Melody: Regretful Separation

(Author Mao Pang, translated by Xu Yuanchong)

Tears ran down her face,

A flower bathed in dew;

Her sad eyebrows frowned.

Like a mountain peak in the distance.

How can I not share her grief?

What can we do?

But silent eyes?

My broken clouds won't bring showers.

Longing for flowers,

It's lonely in the morning and at night.

Deep in the mountains tonight

I'll ask about the high tide

Bring her my longing heart.

By the sea.

There is an anecdote about the origin of this word in the Preface to Selected Poems of Hundred Schools.

It is said that when Su Dongpo went to Hangzhou as a magistrate in Yuanyou, Mao Kun's term of office of Fa Caoyi just expired. A geisha sang this farewell poem at the farewell dinner. Upon hearing this, Su Dongpo asked who did it. Geisha replied that it was hairy grass.

Su Dongpo praised: "I didn't even know we had such excellent colleagues. This is really my sin! " So, the next day, he hurried to get He Miaomiao back and locked him up for several months before letting him go. From then on, He Miaomiao became famous.

Although it was later verified by historians that Mao Kun did work as a priest in Hangzhou, Su Shi did not become an official in Hangzhou until one year after he left. So, it can't happen. Moreover, Mao Jia and Su Jia have been going back and forth for a long time, and Mao Kun and Su Zhe are still good friends. How could it be discovered by Su Shi at this time?

But in any case, even if it was invented by people at that time, Mao Pang's talent can be seen from this.

The opening of this word, "Tears are wet and dry, flowers are dew", is easily reminiscent of Bai Juyi's "Song of Eternal Sorrow" in which "Tears fall on her sad white face like spring rain on pear flowers". Tears, beautiful face, I can see that it is sad.

And the description of the eyebrow tip, using "distant mountains" as a metaphor, "only eyebrows, but hearts", is really detailed and vivid. What's more, the hand-in-hand gaze of "speechless sobs" adds a lot of sadness.

But this kind of sadness is not just your worry, but your half and mine. This is the difference between two people's heartache. The phrase "this hate is shared equally" instantly melts this parting hate into deep affection. Such a wonderful idea can only be said to be enlightening.

The next sentence goes on, two people can't meet each other across the mountains and rivers. However, loneliness is not just for you. I have been suffering from it. Thinking about you, thinking about you, everything is listless.

In the conclusion, the poet said that he was in the depths of this mountain, that is, the "Fuyang Monastery" in the title. He wished that he could not entrust his soul to the tide and fly to his lover in a night dream.

Why entrust it to the tide?

Because Fuyang is in the north of Qiantang River, Qian Jiangchao is famous all over the world. As a result, ci talents have a whim and want to hold the dream tide. This whimsy must be another genius. Someone once commented on Mao Kun's words: "Words are inexhaustible, meaning is inexhaustible, and feelings are inexhaustible." This is what he said.

Cover the paper and I look out of the window, too.

Miss, you're half and I'm half. Such as tide, such as waves, is more than affection?
