Baisha Town was named the first batch of famous historical and cultural towns in Chongqing in April 20001year, and the fifth batch of famous historical and cultural towns in China in February 20 10/year. Baisha has the Qiandanyan Han Group, the ruins of Dasheng Temple in the Tang Dynasty, the main temple in the Ming Dynasty, Jukui Academy in the Qing Dynasty, Baijia Literature Society, and other scenic spots built in the early years of the Republic of China, such as Henian Hall, Xia Mansion, Dengjiayuan and Zhangye Temple. The existing sites include the National Central Library, the National Compilation Hall, the Audit Department of the National Government, the National Women's Teachers College, and the special preschool of the Ministry of Education.
The traditional block of Guzhen is located in the east of Baisha City, where it looks at the Yangtze River in the north and mountains in the south, leaving many traditional houses, some temples and western-style buildings in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. The bluestone pavement is winding, and there is a hole deep in the alley. People live and work here, and the neighborhood is close, with a strong local flavor and heavy historical precipitation that is unforgettable.
Baisha, located near the Yangtze River, is said to have a history of 1700 years. It has also been a transportation hub since ancient times, and it was prosperous for a while.
