What should pupils do if they can't read well?
Problem Description: "Reading the text correctly, fluently and emotionally" is the basic requirement of the new curriculum standard for Chinese teaching in primary schools, but to my regret, students in the class have many problems in reading: reading too many words, missing words, singing, speaking too slowly and stuttering, and some even can't read a natural paragraph; Some students read too fast, and their pronunciation is inaccurate and ambiguous; When reading aloud in groups, there is a sense of procrastination and lack of rhythm. What if students can't read well? This problem must be solved. Problem analysis: I went out to attend classes several times, which made me appreciate the reading style of the students attached to Harbin Normal University. The students' affectionate and emotional reading makes my class teacher of 10 even worse. Why do you reflect on your students' poor reading? Is it the urban-rural gap? No, there is a gap, but it's not that big. So I began to think about the reasons for students' poor reading ability and consult experienced teachers. In an online teaching and research, I accidentally entered the blog of director Yu Zhiqiang of the Municipal Institute of Teaching and Research, where I saw two articles by director Yu, namely "Reading aloud for Chinese teachers and students" and "Reading aloud teaching in primary schools". The problem is finally found: 1, I am not used to previewing before class, and I have not developed the good habit of studying hard and being good at reading. Many words and omissions are caused by reading less, being unskilled and not paying enough attention when reading. 2. There is not enough time to read aloud to students in class, which makes students pay insufficient attention to reading aloud and have low interest in reading. 3. Some students are lazy. When they encounter obstacles in the process of reading, they don't try to solve them. If you are lazy to look up words you don't know, you will give up when you encounter sentences that you can't read smoothly. 4. Students have certain psychological pressure, and they are always worried that they can't read well and will be laughed at by others. The more worried they are, the more likely they are to make mistakes. 5. The habit of procrastination in the lower grades was not corrected in time, and the speed and voice were not mastered well, which led to the phenomenon of singing and reading. 6, punctuation is not fully mastered, reading guidance is not in place. Once the reason is found, students can be trained to read aloud. After a period of time, students' reading level has really improved a lot. Here I record some bits and pieces of my own practice, hoping to provide some help to teachers who have the same troubles as me. Solve the problem: first, preview before class is the most important. I used to have this content in my homework: the first lesson is reading aloud. However, students can finish their homework in the form of drawing and writing as required, but they only deal with reading assignments. Some students only read the text once, while others don't read it at all. The next day in class, because of time, I didn't have the opportunity to read aloud to everyone. Sometimes, students who stumble over books sit down before he finishes reading them, and even criticize his poor preparation at home. Over time, students do not regard such homework as a content, and it is difficult for students to read fluently. How can they read aloud with emotion? Later, I asked my parents for advice and help at the parent-teacher conference. No matter how busy they are, they should be responsible for students' preview before class and read each text at least five times. In class, I give students enough time to read aloud and try to give every student a chance to read aloud. Seeing that teachers attach so much importance to reading training, students will naturally not neglect reading homework. Students read fluently, and the guidance in class is much smoother. Second, cultivating the interest in reading aloud is the premise. Interest is the best teacher. Let students study blindly. At first, with the help of parents, there may be some effects, but over time, it will inevitably arouse students' resentment. What should I do? Emphasis should also be placed on the classroom. 1, usually carefully observe each student's reading situation. For a little progress, even if an article has only one good reading place, it should be found and praised in time, and at the same time, the shortcomings should be pointed out, so that he can not only establish self-confidence, improve his reading interest, but also understand his own shortcomings. 2. Set up several typical students in the class and let them demonstrate. The power of example is infinite. 3. Advocate personalized reading. For thoughtful students, students who can read their own uniqueness are doubly appreciated, and the role of appreciation education is enormous. 4. Every day, a reading contest is held five minutes before Chinese class, and two people each have two minutes. After a round, students' reading enthusiasm will be greatly improved and their interest in learning Chinese will be stronger. 5. Carry out reading activities such as "reading little stars" and "imitating little masters" once a month to satisfy students' desire to express themselves. 6. According to different articles, adopt different reading methods to stimulate students' multiple senses and improve their reading interest. For example, when teaching Happy River, I used the role-playing method to let students play rivers, mountains, springs and waterfalls respectively. And made a headdress for students to wear on their heads, and students' interest in reading was mobilized at once. They said while performing, recreating the scene in the text, and at the same time mixing their words and deeds in the performance. Students' active participation not only enriches their imagination, deepens their emotions, but also improves their reading level. While reading and acting, the students unconsciously entered the story described in the article. Everyone is an actor, and everyone participates. Through performance reading, the students read out the sense of language, realized the joy of success, and were also cultivated by beauty. When teaching ancient poetry, I made a multimedia courseware for students to read with beautiful scenery. Under the rendering of music and scenery, students entered the countryside, understood beauty and "poetry". I also read their heartfelt joy. When teaching the article "Beautiful Rooster", I read "Once upon a time, there was a rooster who thought he was beautiful and sang proudly all day: Rooster Rooster is really beautiful, with a bright red crown and golden feet, better than me." At that time, I asked students to leave their seats and increase their reading activities. The students swaggered and boasted with thumbs up, which not only aroused great interest in the text, but also appreciated the cock's "elation" in reading. Third, teachers' necessary guidance is indispensable. 1, the teacher's model essay reading is necessary. Pupils are good at imitation, so teachers must first do it to let students understand their feelings and charm. For some long and difficult sentences or paragraphs, teachers can give guidance on reading model essays. For example, when teaching Guilin landscape, we should say a few words with the characteristics of Lijiang River and Guilin landscape, emphasizing "really quiet, really clear, really green, really strange, really beautiful and really dangerous". At the same time, we should pay attention to the phonetic changes of modal particles and their suffixes. 2. Strengthen the training of taste reading, and guide students to expand association and imagination, experience feelings and taste the language while reading the text. For example, when teaching the article "Zhan Tianyou", a sentence was displayed: Zhan Tianyou often encouraged the staff to say, "Our work should be precise first, and we should not be a little sloppy. Statements like' probably' and' almost' should not come from engineers. " Let the students imagine: If you were Zhan Tianyou, what would you say? What will Zhan Tianyou say to all railway builders at the construction mobilization meeting? Students gradually enter the role through imagination and read the implied meaning. 3. From the lower grades, gradually explain the meaning of punctuation marks and the length of each pause to students. For example, pause one beat, comma two beats, period, question mark, exclamation point three beats and so on. Organize students to learn punctuation poems: dictionary My father-in-law's house is very noisy. It's punctuation that keeps arguing. The first speaker was an exclamation mark, with a voice like a bronze drum: Friends, I feel the strongest, and no one in the article is more important than me! The exclamation point attracted a burst of ridicule, but the little question mark was unconvinced: Hum, how can I make readers think without my question? The comma makes it very clear, and it refutes the little period together with the pause: If we don't point out the sentence, people will read it all at once, how can we learn it! Profound knowledge is ellipsis, and its words are always so profound. Let's talk about my role ... Hum, it goes without saying that everyone knows. I feel that my level is very high, so I always stay to make a summary report: only I am the protagonist of the article. Without me, the words will be endless. 4. Teach students reading skills, such as stress, intonation, rhythm, pause, etc. Such as poetic rhythm: "spring sleep/unaware of dawn, everywhere/smelling birds" and "old friends/Spanish/Yellow Crane Tower". Teacher Yu Yongzheng, a famous special-grade teacher, attaches great importance to the teaching of reading skills when teaching the article Goodbye, Dear People. For example, Teacher: (When students read the sentence "eight years", the teacher interjected) We should become memories this sentence, lower the tone, slow down the speech and take people back to the past years. Teacher: (Students cut in after reading the story "Saving the Wounded") This story is the most touching and difficult to express. Listen to the teacher and read. You see, guiding students to read memorable sentences such as Eight Years, the teacher clearly told the students the specific reading skills of this tone: "The tone should be low and the speech speed should be slow." Finally, I want to sum up with a passage by Yu Yongzheng, a famous special-grade teacher: The highlight of Chinese teaching should be reading aloud. Teachers should read correctly, fluently and emotionally, and guide students to read correctly, fluently and emotionally, which is a wonderful realm. A Chinese classroom where both teachers and students can read deeply must be full of vitality, spirituality and interest. I hope our Chinese class is full of passion every day.
