Which dynasty was Du a poet?

Du Mu, a master of Tang literature, was born in the middle Tang Dynasty and died in the late Tang Dynasty. Du Mu's Life

Du Mu was born in the 13th year of Zhenyuan in Tang Dezong (797). His ancestral home is Gong County, Henan Province, and he lives in Yingchuan (now Yuzhou, Henan Province). His father, Du Shenyan, was a famous writer and official at that time, and Du Mu received a good education since childhood. Later, he was transferred to Fujian as an official, but because of his honesty, he was loved and respected by the local people.

In his later years, due to political turmoil and court turmoil, Du Mu was forced to leave the capital and live in Jiangnan. There, he wrote famous poems such as "Jiangnan Spring", expressing his nostalgia for his hometown and his perception of life. He died in Tang Xianzong Dazhong for three years (846) at the age of 50.
