There is an article about Yu in the translation forest. ! !

Talented woman Yu Xuan Ji

Contacted with the writing and comments of men in ancient society, her poems, which were praised as masterpieces of Tang and Song Dynasties, were regarded as classics by many people in ancient times just because of the phrase "it is easy to seek priceless treasures, but difficult to love others". However, she herself is called a stunner with evil words, a female Taoist who corrupts customs, a narrow-minded Hedong lion, and an executioner who committed a murder case ... praise and criticism coexist, and it is difficult to distinguish between true and false.

She is Yu, a poetess in the Tang Dynasty.

Good expectations are empty, this is her love.

Fish originally had a very feminine name-fish is promising, also called orchid. Born in Chang 'an in 1984. His father is an unsuccessful scholar. He devoted all his efforts to this daughter and trained her to write poetry from an early age. I am beautiful and handsome, and what is more commendable is that he is quick-thinking and his reputation spreads all over Chang 'an. /kloc-at the age of 0/5, Lucy li, a Shanxi native who won the senior high school entrance examination that year, was married as a concubine and placed in an independent small building.

Lucy li's wife, Shi Pei, was born in Shaanxi and is very powerful. Under the condition of strict family concept at that time, Yu, who was born in a cloth family, had no intention of competing with his wife, just wanted to be congenial. During their wedding, their lives were really harmonious and happy. Yu wrote a poem "Beating the Ball", which was an impromptu work after watching the ball. (Beating the Ball at the same time was a popular sport in the Tang Dynasty. Two teams of people either walked or rode horses, scrambling to hit the ball into each other's door with a "bow stick".). When they were still watching the game, they gambled with each other and made others envy them.

However, as a concubine, Yu is already uneasy about her unstable position. When she received the summer sleeping mat from Li Yi, she thought of what she had sent, lest the emotional "autumn day" also come early. This sense of crisis has always been there. Even when they are watching the fight, she can't help but sigh because of the scenery: "I don't want to leave, but I'm afraid it will never end." Both the ball and the staff are heartless things, but in my opinion, the ball is not afraid of being beaten, and it will always be with people, but it can't be together forever after all. This is a true portrayal of your situation.

Facts have proved that our worries are not groundless. After four years of marriage with Lucy li, he was forced to leave Chang 'an for Jiangling because of his wife's disagreement. It is hard for us to imagine that a weak woman of 19 years old, with only a little maid, took the mountain road from Shaanxi to Henan and then to Xiangyang, Hubei; He took the waterway from Xiangyang, took a boat down the river, came to Wuchang, and finally arrived in Jiangling to go to relatives. We can't know what kind of hardships she has experienced in this involuntary and quite long journey. We can only read the pain and helplessness of leaving our sweetheart from her poems. As she said, "Don't worry about the longing for love", this kind of mental trauma that can't heal itself can be found everywhere in her love letters to Lucy li. Her famous sentence handed down from generation to generation, "I remember your heart is like the Xijiang River, flowing eastward day and night", was written in this period. Supporting her, it is the agreement to meet Lucy li in Jiangling before parting.

Too good expectations are always empty. Lucy li didn't come to reunite with her as promised. She was listless and returned to Chang 'an alone, but it was a farewell forever. Because of his wife's crying, he chose to abandon Yu. Since then, she has become a "flying moth". This husband who misses us, looks forward to us, loves us and complains about us will eventually be a "snowy peak" and cannot accompany him to his old age.

She is willing to sink for life, which is her reality.

Lucy li obviously didn't leave enough living expenses for Yu. At the age of 20, she must plan her future. And the best solution is still to find a trustworthy man. In order to find a way out, ancient literati often wrote books to recommend themselves, but there was always an insatiable sadness between the lines. When a weak woman who has lost her dependence asks others for help for her own survival and recommends herself as a concubine, this kind of self-recommendation poem is even more euphemistic and pitiful to read.

Yu's first choice is Li Ying, an official who lives next door to her. Li Ying, known as a poet, once sang with Li Shangyin. Taking poetry as the medium is of course the best way to explore. Yu wrote "Send a gift after hearing about Li Duangong's fishing" and "See you after Li Ying's fishing in summer" and threw stones with the fishing flag. Among them, "shame is not as good as lovers, it is better to kiss and fish for Los Angeles", with obvious intention and bold wording, which is staggering, and I am afraid that modern women can't reach it.

At this time, Li Ying was 47 years old and had a wife. In fact, Li Ying, who got married at the age of 39, and his wife are very loving. After winning the first prize at the age of 40, he wrote to his wife and said, "Yuanyang is a thousand years old when she crosses her neck, and she wishes for a hundred years." Li Ying is a role model for men. In addition, he was a pioneer in opposing concubinage. He once sneered at men with wives and concubines: "The world is even less expensive, and goldfinches boast twelve lines." For both talent and appearance, Li Ying avoided answering, and only wrote a poem "Spring River Willow" to comfort the general. He encouraged Yu that abandoned things often happen, and the beauty of women is like wicker. It is extremely difficult to stay young for a long time, so there is no need to feel sorry for yourself.

After being politely declined by Li Ying, in the winter of the same year, Yu wrote a poem "Sending Wen Feiqing on a Winter Night". Wen Feiqing was a well-known Ting Yun in the late Tang Dynasty. Yu Hewen knew each other a long time ago. Wen He is a scholar in the same subject, but unfortunately their fates are quite different. The official career of the top high school scholar was smooth sailing, but Wen was removed from the post of Suizhou county magistrate for disturbing the order of the examination room. After leaving for a few years, Wen returned to Chang 'an and unfortunately became his next wife. Yu's poem expresses his own experience and present situation, which is obviously the tone of mutual familiarity and trust between two people. Later generations have different explanations about the relationship between literature and Yu. To be sure, when they sang together, Wen was 53 years old and had a wife and concubine. Moreover, whether they loved each other or had sex, they didn't marry him in the end, but chose to stay away from the world and become a monk.

When the past feelings are gone, those once beautiful years will gnaw at your heart every night, making people sleepless all night. In the year when I was rejected, almost every poem of Yu was written in the middle of the night. "I want to grow old before turning off the lights every night" and "I don't sleep all night and I'm afraid of the cold" have been difficult to solve, not to mention "I heard that my neighbor's husband is back" Li Ying and Wen are already other people's husbands. Although the hooves passed by the door, it was not her husband who came back at night. How can she not complain or mourn?

Chorus is widely circulated. This is her gift.

Have no nostalgia for the world of mortals. After much consideration, I decided to become a monk. Female Taoist priests have existed since ancient times, but the female Taoist priests in the Tang Dynasty are quite different. Some are for spiritual practice, and some are in the name of breaking away from the world. In fact, the social circle is wider and more free, and they have become a special group that is different from both common women and prostitutes.

In 864, Yu chose Cheng Yiguan, a monastery built by Princess Cheng Yi, as the land for women. "Mystery" is her road number. She likes the new living environment very much: "I moved to Xianju this day and never planted flowers"; I also quickly adapted to my new identity and new life. The poem "Farewell" says, "I have nothing to do, and the scenery travels alone." Reading is still an important part of her life. She said that she "has been in bed for a long time, half drunk and combed her hair", "Spring flowers and autumn moons enter poetry, and the fairy scattered in the daytime". However, from Yu's description of daily life, we can easily find that her daily life is the same. It is nothing more than being neighbors with warblers, friends with cranes, enjoying flowers and adding fragrance, and being in contact with Taoist friends, which is boring.

Before long, Yu caught the attention of a "hero" and his life changed greatly. Huangfumei, a scholar in the late Tang Dynasty, once wrote in his life: "The tune of returning to the ranger is also. So romantic people, for decoration. Or wine carriers will play the piano and make poems, and occasionally make waves. " Who is this "Hao Xia" who has made a 360-degree turn in Yu's spiritual life? Huangfumei didn't exactly refer to it at that time. Later generations, through their own poems, think that Liu Tong is the most likely to come to Hedong. In the late Tang Dynasty, our soldiers were armed to the teeth, and even the emperor was in awe. Being favored by such a big shot has greatly increased Yu's reputation. Anyone who comes to Beijing to take the exam is proud to know her. It is said that after Liu Tong was appointed as our ambassador to Xichuan, he hoped to take him to Chengdu, but he didn't agree.

At this point, our self-confidence reached the highest point. She looked at the names of the new scholars on the topic and wrote the poem "I hate clothes and hide poems, but I look up and admire the name on the list". She thought that being a woman deprived me of the right to be the top scholar. On weekdays, she even made friends with a group of new scholars and sang chorus from time to time. The folk rumor is that she posted a signboard of "more poems to be taught" in the city. Whether it is true or not, later generations have different opinions. However, the title of her poems has been unanimously praised, and Zhong Xing, a scholar in the Ming Dynasty, even commented: "Mystery is a poet in a vegetable garden."

The mystery of the sweet soul's return is her ending.

After working as an audience for several years, Yu finally waited for her favorite bosom friend and made plans to get married. The name "Zuo Mingchang" first appeared in her poems.

Zuo Mingchang is a fellow countryman, and Yu is an old acquaintance. In the autumn of 867, he went to Chang 'an to try, lived near Chengyiguan, and sent word that he had arrived in Beijing, lost his wife and was single. First, Yu "suddenly slammed the door rumors", and then he fell in love. She spoke highly of her lover's talent and made no secret of her admiration. During this period, she wrote a love poem which was considered "quite bold" by Zheng Zhenduo, and directly suggested "Don't pour the best mash on an uncle's night alone". In this way, a happy day seems just around the corner.

Just then, a murder case happened. This story is recorded in detail in Huangfumei's Sanshui Xiaoxi, which is no less than a thriller. We might as well simply describe it in vernacular Chinese: Green Qiao, the handmaid of female Taoist Yu, is also beautiful and intelligent and has been following the mystery for many years. In 868, Qing Qiao suddenly disappeared. In the face of other people's inquiries, Yu replied that the maid had fled without a trace. One day, Yu invited a guest at home and a guest went to the backyard to relieve himself. He saw dozens of flies gathered on the ground, and after being driven away, they quickly gathered in the same place. After careful observation, he found tiny blood on the ground. When the guest went out, he told the servant what he saw, and when the servant came home, he told his brother. This eldest brother is just a street pawn (similar to a policeman) in Jingzhao Mansion. He once made enemies with Yu for extortion. Taking this opportunity, he took people into Yu's backyard. Sure enough, he dug up a body, which was Qingqiao. Yu was jailed for killing his handmaid.

Later confessed. One day, she went out to meet her friend and told Green Joe, "If a guest comes, tell him where I went." Yu didn't return to the Taoist temple until evening because all his friends stayed together. Green Joe stepped forward and said, "There's a guest today, so go straight because you're not here." Jade wondered how she could leave when she always waited for her guests. Seeing that Qing Jing had a different complexion, she suspected that Qing Jing was having an affair with her, tortured her in the middle of the night, flogged her to death, and buried her body in the backyard at night.

This story is widely circulated and has always been accepted by people. Because of this, the poetess is full of emotion and can sing and dance, but the killing of a servant girl left her with a strong jealousy. /kloc-more than 0/000 years later, the modern scholar Tan Zhengbi put forward another possibility: the death of Qing Qiao was deliberately framed by the resentment of street soldiers, and the mystery was unbearable in prison and forced to confess, so he wrote the poem "The moon shines in the sky, and the breeze opens the chest".

Yu was finally executed in 2006, when she was only 25 years old. At the age when a modern woman is about to bloom, she has withered and is about to come to the end of her life.

Thousands of years later, in the modern society where women's rights are widely spread, people have different interpretations of Yu, and modern scholars have pushed her to the height of daring to express her love and pursuing gender equality. For example, the writer Wang Xiaobo's work "Looking for uniqueness" describes Yu. So the little girl turned around beautifully and was turned into a free and open pioneer who stood up for women. But how miserable and sad it should be to live in her own time. The truth of history has long been buried by time, leaving us only these poems written in words and the true feelings of a woman in the Tang Dynasty constructed by these poems.
