The young turtles in the nest got the wrong message and thought it was safe outside, so they rushed out together. There was no shelter on the beach, which soon attracted many carnivorous birds. Dozens of small turtles became food for mockingbirds, seagulls and boobies. Looking at dozens of birds of prey, they were full and gave a happy cry, and the travelers bowed their heads.
