Xie Tiao (464-499) was born in Chenjun, Yang Xia. Outstanding landscape poets in the Southern Dynasties.
Xie Tiao Building is located in Xuancheng City, Anhui Province.
Xie Tiao, a former satrap of Xuancheng, built the first floor of Yangshan Mountain in the north of the county seat, which was called "Gaozhai". "Xuancheng County Records" records: Xie Tiao "regards things as high and fast, sings and screams, and the county also governs".
In the Tang Dynasty, in memory of Xie Tiao, this building was rebuilt and renamed as Beiwang Building, which is located in the north of the county government. They are called Xie Tiao Building and Xiegong Building. When the great poet Li Bai passed by Xie Tiao Building, he wrote a poem "Farewell Secretary of Xuanzhouzhuang" and praised Xie Tiao in the poem "I grew up beside you, I am Xiao Xie". Since then, the Xie Tiao Tower has become famous all over the world.
In the 15th year of Tang Xiantong (874), Dugulin, the secretariat of Xuanzhou, rebuilt this building and renamed it Zhang Die Building. During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, the prefect of Ningguo was rebuilt every time, and it was also called Gaozhailou. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi in Qing Dynasty, the magistrate Xu Ting was rebuilt and called Gubei Building. During Guangxu period, Zhifu Land was rebuilt, with two plaques, one for the heavy building and the other for the Xie Tiao building.
