How to cultivate students' interest in reading classics through morning reading

The "Dancing with Dawn" morning reading project advocated by the new education is a compound course with children's songs, beautiful children's poems and classical poems as the main contents, which is suitable for children at present. The purpose is to establish the relationship between poetry and children, enrich students' minds, and emphasize that children are integrated with poetry in the morning reading process, immersed in it, thinking deeply and fully experiencing the richness of poetry.

In the cultural history of China, classical poetry, as a cultural treasure of the Chinese nation for 5,000 years, has become a beautiful landscape in the cultural history of China with its refined language, rich imagination and sincere feelings. Confucius said, "If you don't learn poetry, you have nothing to say." Poetry expresses ambition, and literature expresses emotion. Ancient poetry is like a cup of old and mellow wine, nourishing the blood of Chinese people; Like a magnet, it condenses and attracts the soul of the Chinese nation. "I can recite it when I was young and I will never forget it." In the process of children's ancient poetry accumulation, they experienced the process of "learning knowledge-practicing behavior-cultivating temperament". So, how to make good use of morning reading to cultivate students' interest in reading classic poems? Let's talk about my method:

First, cultivate interest and never tire of learning.

(1) "morning reading". I use morning reading every day to teach reading, read and recite classic poems together, arrange students to read, lead or recite in turn on the podium, and arouse students' learning enthusiasm. Students are also allowed to collect poetry stories and anecdotes of authors extensively, and their oral expression ability is cultivated through class story meetings; And give timely encouragement to outstanding students.

(2) "There are pictures in poetry". Ancient poetry has the characteristics of beauty in sound, meaning and form. I encourage students to draw pictures of ancient poems according to poems, expand their reasonable imagination, and experience the artistic conception of poems and the poet's rich life sentiment through painting.

(3) "I am a small expert in reading." With the continuous improvement of students' interest in ancient poetry, they have accumulated more and more ancient poetry. At this time, I held different forms of ancient poetry recitation activities in my class, such as double recitation, group competition, competition for boys and girls, and carried out limited recitation, rotation recitation, relay recitation and other forms, which stimulated students' enthusiasm and enriched their knowledge reserves. I also held a "reading expert" competition in my class, and selected the students who recited the most ancient poems in the class, and gave them a commendation award, a small certificate, a thin notebook, a toffee, a burst of applause and a hug. This is a trivial reward, but it has greatly inspired the students and made them more and more enthusiastic about reciting.

Second, sneak into the night with the wind and moisten things silently.

(1) Enjoy music and painting and feel the beauty of artistic conception. Ancient poetry has a strong beauty of music and rhythm. There are paintings in poetry and poems in painting. A poem is often a landscape painting, an idyllic scenery map. According to these characteristics, I take corresponding audio-visual measures in teaching methods, and strive to achieve the teaching effect of doing as the Romans do. For example, when we are reading ancient poems such as "Memorizing Jiangnan" and "Guan Shanyue", I will carefully select classical music suitable for the artistic conception of ancient poems, so that children can feel the charm of ancient poems in beautiful melodies, without too much explanation from teachers, and children can wander freely in graceful rhymes and feel for themselves.

(2) Timely recommendation and organic cultivation. Since reciting ancient poetry, students have read and memorized a lot of ancient poetry, but most of them are singing and reading, and they have not understood the charm of poetry. Only when students are exposed to it can they be influenced by poetry more effectively. Therefore, I make full use of the videos read by famous people on the Internet, change the content regularly every week, and use a certain period of time to let students read emotionally in their studies. Sing with three sighs or shake your head and recite. The students read with great interest. On the basis of helping students understand poetry, I read aloud, so that students can understand the rhythm and rhythm of poetry, cultivate their sense of language, and let them be influenced by beauty in reading.

Third, the principle of scientific evaluation and encouragement.

In the process of reciting in the morning, students with good memory recite quickly, while students with poor memory recite slowly. We should treat them correctly and admit the differences between them. Teachers should also praise and encourage some students who have not completed their tasks. Teachers should patiently guide students who don't read well in rhythm, rhythm and emotion, praise them for "reading carefully" or "you are making progress every time", and stimulate their interest and confidence in reading ancient poems.

Morning reading is a ritual, a baptism ceremony for teachers and students to walk through poetry together, enjoy life and start a new day. Reading in the morning requires teachers and students to read together, feel together, revel together and inspire together, so that teachers and students can be intertwined with poetry. Let our students have a loving and sensitive heart, a poetic mood, moved by flowers and falling, and shed tears on the horizon, just as Shen Congwen said: When it is extremely quiet in the morning, people are afraid to fall when they hear birds singing.

Confucius said, "Knowing is not as good as being kind, and being kind is not as good as being happy." If we make good use of the morning reading class every day and actively stimulate students' interest in reciting ancient poetry, we can make students fall in love with morning reading and classical poetry.
