Design intent
Night Tour in Chengtian Temple was written during Su Shi's relegation to Huangzhou. The full text is only 85 words. However, these 85 words not only recorded the bright moon color of Yuanfeng in the night of 2006 10/2, but also recorded Su Shi's subtle and tortuous touching feelings: when he undressed and wanted to sleep, the moonlight knocked on Su Shi's heart like an old friend, and that kind of happiness was so strong that he could not restrain himself, so he spontaneously "happily" "Idle people" enthusiastically "went to Chengtian Temple to find Zhang Huaimin" after thinking, pondering and searching instantly. "Sleepless with the people" and "Yi" express the ingenious and wonderful joy between bosom friends; Their "atrium in hand" began a leisurely, quiet and wordless walk on the moon that night, which gave birth to the joy and aesthetic pleasure of writing the famous sentence "The courtyard is as empty as water and the water is full of flowers and cypresses" and the discovery of "suddenly enlighted" after "intoxicated with the beautiful scenery".
As for the two questions and one answer at the end of the article, we not only see Su Shi's calm and sincere self-satisfaction and self-appreciation, but also have an epiphany: this swaying "joy" comes from the author's mind of "idle people" who deal with adversity and turn suffering into poetry. This kind of "leisure" is not only the leisure of not signing books and official business, but also the leisure that is detached from real life.
Therefore, this design starts from Lin Yutang's evaluation of Su Shi, based on the students' initial reading experience, taking the author's "music" as the main line, chewing words, linking the background, containing swimming comparison and reading experience, restoring the wonderful feelings contained in the text from "music" and "leisure", entering the author's delicate and rich mind, and calmly realizing Su Shi's aesthetic attitude towards life.

"He is an incurable optimist, a great humanist, a friend of the people, a great writer, a great calligrapher, an innovative painter, ... a rambler in the moonlight, a poet, and a person with a natural sense of humor."
Who is he?
He is the versatile Su Shi and Su Dongpo.
Today, we are going to study a travel note "Night Tour in Chengtian Temple" written by him in Huangzhou.
Second, show the results of self-study.

(1) Reading is no fun.
② Then I went to Chengtian Temple to find Zhang Huaimin. Huaimin is still awake.
(3) The water is covered with bamboo and cypress.
But there are few idle people like me.
Accurate explanation:
Moonlight enters the house? Are you happy? Set out? Sui zhi
Huai Min didn't sleep in the atrium? Algae interbreed with each other? Solanum lyratum
Fluent translation:
(1) Reading is no fun.
(2) Under the court, if the water is empty, the algae in the water are horizontal and covered with bamboo and cypress.
(3) But there are few idle people like me.
Pay attention to guide students to slow down and read the cadence of classical Chinese. At the same time, pay attention to the connection of knowledge before and after: "household", contact "Mulan weaves for the household" and "home" in Mulan's poems; Beggars' Sect is related to Gai Yi's Toad in thoroughfare and Gai Yi's Seduce the Enemy in Wolf Warriors. Distinguish the meanings of "line", "step" and "walk"; Understand the sentence properly, pay attention to "having fun" and "idle people", and translate the sentence "under the court" truthfully, so as to lay a solid foundation for the next teaching.
3. Briefly summarize this life segment written in the article in one sentence.
Qing Dynasty: "Su Shi visited Chengtian Temple in Zhang Huaimin at night" or "On the night of October 12th, Yuan Feng, Su Shi and Zhang Huaimin strolled in Chengtian Temple under the moon".
Third, understand the charm of the article.
1. Please read it all your life. Requirements: Correct pronunciation, good pause and rhyme reading. Other students evaluate from these aspects.
2. Teachers read the model aloud with music and share their understanding and feelings about the article with students.
3. Question: Did you hear Su Shi's mood during his night outing? Are there any sentences that directly express this emotion? (happy; "Set out happily." )
Ask another student to read the text again in a cheerful tone and imitate the teacher. Play the guzheng music "Mountain Flowing Water".
5. Read the experience together and try to read the quaint charm of classical Chinese.
Transition: In reading aloud, we heard Su Shi's inner happiness. Indeed, Lin Yutang said in Su Dongpo's Biography that "Su Shi's happiest time is when he is writing" and that "making readers happy is a major feature of Su Dongpo's works". Next, let's go deep into the text and read it carefully.
Fourth, the happiness of reading the author.
1. Read word for word, chew carefully, find and restore the hidden happiness between the lines and sentences of the article. And write down your own understanding in the blank space of the text in the form of comments.
Teacher's example: I found Su Dongpo's immediate joy and desire to share with friends in the sentence "Go with joy". You see, the words "he started happily", "he got up" and "he left" show how intense and sincere the happiness he felt inside! How frank and lovely he is!
2. Students read and appreciate independently, and then the group inspires and perfects each other.
3. Communication and promotion between teachers and students.
(1) Moonlight enters the home
Here "ru" is not only "shooting" and "photographing", but also should be interpreted as anthropomorphic "walking" and "entering". The word "Ru" means that the moonlight is as considerate as ever. She knows that Su Shi, who has a soft spot for the moon (waning moon, Leng Yue, missing moon, solitary moon, full moon and bright moon, whose images condense his carefree or passionate feelings, open-minded mind and wise thoughts), will never give up a beautiful autumn night; "She knows that a heart that knows beauty will never close its shell easily in a boundless romantic environment." It was this word "Jin" that triggered Su Shi's endless surprises-I had no problem with the moon, and the moonlight "Jin" came into my mind, and the uninvited moonlight brought an unexpected happiness.
(2) Idle people go to Chengtian Temple to find Zhang Huaimin.
"Nian" describes Su Shi's instant meditation, introspection and search. It is on this second thought that Zhang Huaimin "jumped into" his mind. The words "Sui" and "Xun" describe Su Shi's high spirits at that time, and there is an indescribable joy from "thinking" to "Sui": the moonlight is always there, who can enjoy it with you? Without this person, happiness will really be reduced by a few points, but how can Shi not be happy when he finds someone to share this boundless romance?
Follow-up: Why did Su Shi only look for Zhang Huaimin to enjoy the moon?
The notes after class are as follows: Zhang Huaimin is a friend of the author and was demoted to Huangzhou at that time. This is a ...
Ppt shows the relevant background information of Zhang Huaimin:
Zhang Huaimin was demoted to Huangzhou on 1083. At first, he lived in Chengtian Temple. He is open-minded and never cares about demotion. In his leisure time, he is a lofty and aloof person who enjoys mountains and rivers and has no worries about adversity.
Students' reading is clear: second, Zhang Huaimin is as open-minded as Su Shi, loves mountains and rivers, and doesn't care about relegation, and is also a noble and detached person. The two are in similar situations and have similar interests. They are confidants of life and aesthetics. Invited by the bright moon and accompanied by bosom friends, it is a great pleasure in life!
③ Huaimin stayed up and walked in the atrium.
The word "Yi" contains the most ingenious happiness, and writes the joy of the soul between intimate friends! Walking in the Atrium is a quiet picture of two people who love mountains and rivers and have poetic hearts walking side by side under the moon.
Hugging: Can the "step" here and the "line" in "Happy Beginnings" be interchanged? Why?
Clear: No, because "Xing" wrote Su Shi's strong joy in his heart, he set out immediately, without thinking, and acted spontaneously; "No" describes the leisure, calmness and comfort of Su Shi and Zhang Huaimin when they walk under the moon.
Discussion: Is there anything about how they "talk and play"? Why?
Clear: I didn't write that two people were chatting and playing. One is to leave blank, giving people endless reverie; The most important thing is that their hearts are connected, a smile is worth a thousand words, and they are more affectionate in peace.
Guide: Read by name, reread "Ye" and experience the surprise of "not sleeping with the people". Teachers and students read Sleeping with the People and Walking in the Atrium to understand each other's tacit understanding. Read the narrative part and feel the author's happiness flowing between the lines.
(4) The courtyard is like running water, and the water is full of bamboo and cypress.
This seemingly plain sentence contains surprising emotional waves: there is a pool of clear and empty water under the courtyard, and there are criss-crossing algae and weeds in the pool. A closer look shows that the swaying shadow is actually the shadow of bamboo and cypress! This wave, from Su Shi's true feelings, also drives our surprise. Therefore, it is appropriate to experience and explore the author's happiness in a comparative way.
Question 1, ppt shows:
The courtyard is as empty as water, with algae and grass interlaced and bamboo and cypress shaded.
Bianwen: Under the court (moonlight), if the water is empty and bright, the algae and grass in the water are interlaced, which is the shadow of bamboo and cypress.
Careful, can you find out what changes have taken place in our reading experience after the change?
Sunny: make up the moonlight and lose the surprise; If it is not fiction, it can truly reflect the author's feelings at that time, because the author didn't realize that it was moonlight at first, which can better set off the clarity of moonlight on the night of 10/2. When "Gai" is replaced by "Yes", the language becomes dull and there is no double aesthetic pleasure of "intoxication" and "discovery".
Question 2, ppt shows:
Please try to fill in two modal particles in the blank of this sentence to make up for the author's emotional turmoil.
The court is empty as water, (? ) Algae and weeds cross each other in the water, () Bamboo and cypress cover each other.
Guide to read the original text, and read out the author's surprises of "intoxicated by the beautiful scenery" and "discovering the truth".
Follow-up: Why didn't Su Shi use modal particles?
Clear: The author has put psychological waves in this tortuous and touching description and special writing order, and there is no need to add modal particles. And there are no modal particles, which can better reflect the simplicity and charm of classical Chinese.
4. Summary: Just 85 words actually contain so much happiness: the unexpected joy in the moonlight, the joy that friends feel the same, the joy of leisurely walking with confidants, and the joy of accidental discovery brought by the beautiful scenery and hallucinations under the moon.
Reread the full text with the music of "mountain stream" to show this tortuous flow and swaying happiness.
Fifth, explore the charm of "idle people"
1. In the face of such an empty environment, how did Su Shi express his inner feelings?
Qing: Why is there no moon at night? Where is there no bamboo and cypress? It's just the lack of free people like us.
2. ask: how do you understand this sentence?
Beautiful scenery is always with us, but unfortunately there are no idle people like me and Huaimin to enjoy it!
3. Interpret the "leisure" of "idle people".
What does "idle people" mean? A leisurely person. )
② Does "leisure" only refer to "leisure in time and transaction"? Only in what state of mind can a person see such empty moonlight and beautiful and quiet scenery? Link Su Shi's life background in time, ppt shows:
In the second year of Yuanfeng (1079), Su Shi was accused of slandering the new law with poetry, and his political opponents put Su Shi in prison on the charge of "slandering state affairs". This is the famous "Wutai Poetry Case" in history. The trial lasted five months. With many rescues and Emperor Zongshen's pity for his talent, Su Shi narrowly escaped death and was banished to Huangzhou, where he served as the deputy envoy of Huangzhou Yong ying (an idle official position in the Song Dynasty), but he was not allowed to leave the place without permission, and he was not entitled to sign official documents or receive any salary. He rented dozens of acres of wasteland to manage, build dams, fish ponds, move saplings, grow rice, wheat and vegetables, and built his own hut on the slope, named "Dongpo Jushi".
Obviously, this leisure is not only leisure in official business, but also leisure in adversity, leisure beyond exhausted physical life, sincerity in poetic face of adversity and spontaneous face of life, tranquility and emptiness in secular fame and fortune, and spiritual freedom beyond life and death. This is a supreme realm of life.
As Su Shi, please express your inner feelings in an appropriate tone.
Su Shi may have lost and laughed at himself-it is also a kind of free and easy to laugh at himself in this situation; But at this moment, at this beautiful moment, he is more of a kind of self-satisfaction, a little self-appreciation, inner pleasure, satisfaction and intoxication.
Read them together and experience Su Shi's self-satisfaction and self-appreciation.
4. Extension: Not only this evening, but also this article. Open Dongpo Zhi Lin and Su Shi's magnificent poems and works of nearly one million words. Such wonderful and moving moments abound.
At the beginning, I demoted Huangzhou to live in Lingaoge and enjoyed the national scenery-
Jiangshan romantic this impermanent master, leisure is the master. -Su Shi's "Dongpo Zhi Lin Lingao Leisure Topic"
When he took the moon to Xiqiao, he was "drunk in the grass" all night until spring dawn-
In Huangzhou, I swam in the water on a spring night, passed by a restaurant, got drunk, took the moon to a creek bridge, unloaded my saddle, got drunk and rested less. It feels like it's already dawn, the mountains are crowded and the water is rushing, so I doubt it's earthly. On the bridge pillar of the book.
According to the wild shallow waves, the sky is faint. I want to get drunk and sleep on the grass.
It's a pity that a romantic wind didn't teach you to crush Qiong Yao. Take off your saddle and rest at Qingyang Bridge, and there will be the sound of spring dawn in Du Yu.
-Su Shi's Dongpo Zhi Lin Xijiang Moon
When he was drunk at night, it was midnight. "The child's breathing has been thundering and should not knock."
I drank Dongpo at night and woke up drunk. It seems that it is already midnight when I come back. The child's breathing sounds like thunder. Don't knock at the door. Listen to the sound of the river on crutches.
-Su Shi's Linjiang Fairy
5. This is Su Dongpo:
He is spontaneous and dare to expose his true nature; He faced adversity poetically and faced gains and losses wisely; He transcends worldly fame and wealth, and his mind is ethereal and free; He has always loved nature and life, but he can find beauty that others can't feel even in heaven ... His life is a life of singing and dancing!
Let's recite the full text, and use our life to gradually realize his wonderful feeling like a flowing spring, and his happiness like the empty moon pouring down!
