The father of ancient Greek tragedy was Aeschylus. His masterpieces include Prometheus Bound, Agamemnon, Goodman (or Nemesis) and so on.

Aeschylus was born in Iliutis, Attica, Greece in 525 BC and died in 456 BC. He is a tragic poet in ancient Greece. Together with Sophocles and euripides, he is known as the greatest tragic writer in ancient Greece, and has the reputation of "the father of tragedy" and "a poet with strong inclination".
