I contribute to the construction of my hometown essay

Everyone loves their hometown, and I am no exception. My hometown is Deyang, Sichuan, a fresh and elegant countryside with birds singing and flowers fragrant.

A few years ago, I returned to my hometown. Walking on the quiet path, a sense of excitement arises spontaneously. The wild flowers and grass on the roadside are filled with the fragrance of nature. Stepping on the naturally formed dirt road feels warm and your mood suddenly brightens. At a glance, the rapeseed flowers in the fields are golden, but sometimes a little green appears. The rapeseed flowers cover the whole world, even where they meet the sky. Sometimes a few butterflies stop on the flowers, sucking the fragrance of life. I hummed a song, in harmony with the painting, which gave me an infinite sense of beauty.

Later, I returned to my hometown. My hometown was completely different. The flowers have lost their energy, the trees have lost their energy, and the fields have lost their former beauty. A layer of shadow was cast all around - white garbage. They separated the moving life from the front, leaving only darkness, and my heart also darkened. I suddenly thought: Why not get rid of the white trash? Wouldn’t this make the environment more beautiful? This suggestion received a positive response from everyone, even my little cousin and cousin also applauded.

One day later, we prepared the props and set off. I came to the field and put all the garbage on the crops into the basket. At this time, a large plastic bag caught my eye. I stood on tiptoes, stretched out my hand to grab it, and with all my strength, I finally got the garbage. Suddenly, my foot slipped and I rolled into the field. Everyone heard my shout and gathered around. I took my father's hand, kicked up, and climbed up. I held the plastic bag tightly with both hands and smiled happily. I got up and continued to follow everyone in removing trash. Our hearty songs are echoing everywhere on the hillsides, in the fields, and on the paths.

I am proud. Although it is just a small thing and a small contribution, I believe that as long as everyone contributes, we can definitely make our hometown more beautiful.

As the sun sets in the west, the afterglow of the sun gently envelopes me and the country road, shining with little rays of light, and there is a kind of silent beauty everywhere.
