Literary characteristics of the nineteenth century

Realism is a literary trend of thought that first appeared in France, Britain and other places in western Europe in the 1930s, and then spread to Russia, Northern Europe and the United States, becoming the mainstream of European and American literature in the 1960s and creating the peak of modern European and American literature.

Paris commune literature appeared in the middle and late period of19th century, including poems, novels, plays, essays, memoirs and historical works about the revolutionary activities of the commune written by commune members about 20 years before and after its birth, among which the number and achievements of poems are the largest. The creative team of Paris commune literature is popular, among which Eugè ne Porter (18 16- 1887), Louise Michel (1830- 1905) and Jules Valle are the most representative. Paris commune literature laid the foundation for the development of world proletarian literature in the 20th century.
