Fourth grade composition: poetry recital

Poetry recital

Several students in my class and I were chosen as small actors in the poetry recital. How lucky!

In the past two weeks, we rehearsed twice a day, had a difficult class at noon, and even missed Saturday. Let's persist until six o'clock every day. When I got home, I had homework waiting for me. The teacher repeated and guided over and over again, which improved our reading level a lot. Teachers and parents are expecting our performance.

Finally, this day has come!

At six o'clock this morning, at dawn, many students gathered in the gym. With the help of the teacher, everyone changed clothes and put on makeup. These girls are very beautiful, just like the beautiful little princess in fairy tales. While boys have been dodging in the back, trying to escape, Zhang Cong dare not change!

It's 7: 30, and we will go to Hangzhou Theatre by bus. Through the window, I saw Xiao Yuzhu following us all the way. Maybe it also wants to be a live guest! Finally arrived, we saw a red banner in front of the door, "China Poetry Reading". We walked across the red carpet, entered the gate, and went backstage to prepare nervously. I took time to stretch my neck and look for the shadow of my mother and our Class 4 (1), but there was no result.

The performance has already started. The first chapter is the three-character classic. A group of cute little dolls dressed in red are bobbing their heads and performing the three-character classics they just learned! Finally, the second chapter-magnificent mountains and rivers. We stepped onto the stage one after another, and it was dark under the stage, so we couldn't see which one was our class and which one was our mother. As soon as the music started and the host finished, we immediately began to recite. Reading and reading, some naughty bubbles danced around us, adding luster to our performance. In a short time, the scene was filled with smoke, as if we were standing on the top of Mount Tai reciting the breeze, and the audience was intoxicated in the recitation. ...

The recital finally came to an end, but what we will never forget is the warm applause of the audience and the personal experience of "three minutes on stage and ten years off stage"!
